The Chaos Forest is one of Crimson Desert’s many Abyss puzzles. Find out how to reach this section of the Abyss and how to solve the puzzle within to claim an Abyss Artifact in this guide.
How to reach Chaos Forest
The Chaos Forest is linked directly to the Spire of Insight, meaning that to reach it, we’ll need to ascend the Spire of Insight first.
How to solve the puzzle
We’ll spawn in directly on top of the Abyss Nexus and need to make our way forward to the Door blocking our path. Lift it out of the way with Nature’s Grasp and head in.
Here we’ll see a bunch of Thorns covering the Area. Use the Focus light portion of Blinding Flash to set them on fire and remove them.
Any fire-imbued Power Core we may have stored in the Kuku Pot will also get the job done. Don’t forget to store it again after!
This reveals a second Power Source slot to the right as well as a pool of water on the left.
If we look over the right side, we’ll see a Powersource we can grab with Axiom Force.
It’s on fire, though, so we’ll be unable to stand on it to socket it into place. Give it a dip in the pool or water we just revealed to get rid of that fire.
Get it in place and socket it using Aerial Force Palm.
Next, we need to get over to the other side. Burn the Vines over there using Focus Light and head across.
If we haven’t invested much into Stamina yet, we can use the Roots on the upper area above us to make it across safely and reliably. Alternatively, use the Aerial Force Palm for height and glide over.
Down here is another Nature’s Grasp door, go ahead and lift it and pass under. This one won’t stay open for us.
In this room, grab the power source and get it into place to be socketed.
Carry one of the nearby Abyss Fragments and stack it on top of the one near the power source. Climb up and Force Palm it into place.
Axiom Current can also be used to socket this power source without the need to stack the fragments.
Once it’s in place, we’ll want to move one of these Abyss Fragments over near the Door.
Lift the Door and quickly grab the Abyss Fragment and place it under the door to line up the circuit on the back of the door with those around it. We recommend placing it along the wall as shown below to keep it from being sent flying easily.
Once held open, the button just outside will be powered now. Climb up and give it a good Force Palming (or use Axiom Current).
Head to the upper level to claim the Abyss artifact.
Chaos Forest’s Skybridge
If we head to the right of where the Abyss Artifact was, we’ll come to the Skybridge here.
As we step out onto the end of the Sky Bridge, it will pop up additonal panels leading to the Teleporter. We’ll need to watch out for unstable panels as we follow the bridge.
Alternatively, you can clear this gap by simply using Aerial Force Palm to gain height and glide across to the Teleporter.
Entering the Teleporter will lead us into another section of the Abyss, the Roots of Truth, where another puzzle awaits us.
