The Altar of Solitude is one of Crimson Desert’s many Abyss Puzzles. Find out how to reach this section of the Abyss and how to solve the puzzle to claim the Abyss Artifact reward.
How to reach the Altar of Solitude
You can access the Courtyard of Precision after the completion of the Obsession and Madness Quest in Chapter IV. You also need to complete the Courtyard of Precision first, as it is linked directly to it.
How to solve the puzzle
After you arrive at the Abyss Nexus, you will see an energy cube as well as one of those panels that go into sockets.
Ignore the cube and use Axiom Force to grab the panel and place it on the left socket. You will notice that the other socket on that platform already has a panel placed there.
Now that it’s in place, move the energy cube into the stone block. This will make the left platform spin once. Jump down to the lower level.
Look for the panel that is in the middle of the structure. Use Axiom Force and grab it all the way to the other side. There will be a gap big enough for it to pass through.
Push it as close to the platform as possible. When it spins again, it will push it and bring it out on the other side. Now go to the teleporter that will take you back to the Abyss Nexus.
Push the energy cube away from the stone block. The platform will spin again, bringing the panel with it.
Place the new panel in the middle socket. Then move the two panels from the left platform to the right one.
Once again, you have to push the energy cube into the stone block. This time, the second platform is going to spin.
Head down and grab the panel located in the nearby room. You have to repeat the same process as with the last one. Place it close to the “roof”, use the teleporter, and remove the energy cube from the stone block.
Now that you have all four energy panels on this side. Place the free panel on the left side, then remove the panel from the middle and also place it on the left.
The final step is to push the energy cube into the stone block. This will turn both platforms on and power everything up.
All you have to do now is use Aerial Force Palm to push the button and claim your reward.
Before leaving, head to the tight and left side of the center to loot the chests with crafting materials inside them.
There is a third chest hidden in a structure near the skybridge gate. The entrance is blocked by lasers. Use the stones nearby to block the lasers and create a safe entry. Inside it, you will find an Abyss Artifact and Haste II Abyss Gear.
Reward
The puzzle is now complete. Go ahead and claim the Abyss Artifact reward.
Like all sections of the Abyss, there’s yet another Skybridge just beyond here that will connect to the Ice Cradle, the next puzzle in this long chain.
