This Crimson Desert guide will show you where to find and how to solve the Halssius Conflux puzzle to be able to get the Abyss Artifact.
Where to find the Ruins
You can find this puzzle directly west from the Greymane camp and southeast from Anvil Hill. The ruins sit on the northern side of Nas River.
One of the Faction quests, Where all comes together, sends you to this location, but the quest’s purpose is unrelated to the puzzle.
How to solve the puzzle
To solve the Halssius Conflux puzzle, you will need the Stab ability. You don’t need to upgrade it. And it works with any weapon.
Initial setup
The puzzle consists of a metal arrow you can turn around the center. There are three stone circles around the middle, where a statue on a pedestal is sitting.
At first, only the outer circle will have symbols displayed on the stone tiles. As you progress the puzzle, the other two circles will also reveal their symbols.
On the outside, you will see statues of human and animal shapes, often holding an object.
To be able to start the puzzle, first move the two fallen stone pillars. Use Nature’s Grasp to lift them up. Move them outside. You can throw or place them, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of the puzzle.
Hints
If you want to give it a try yourself, here are a few hints. If you prefer, skip below for the full step-by-step solution.
- The light beam points to the symbol you need to position the grate over.
- There are no more than one symbol of each time on a single ring.
- For the third step, when the inner ring is active, look for the symbol that is included twice.
Solution
Follow where the light from the central statue is pointing. You must move the metal grate on top of the symbols that the light beam is pointing to.
- Outer Stone Ring Active
Use Stab on the pillar and move the grate so the hole closest to you stands on top of the Coin symbol. You don’t need to be very precise with the positioning. When you pull our your weapon, a light beam of light will show through the symbol on the ground.
- Outer Ring and Middle Ring Active
Use Stab and move the metal grate until its hole closest to you is positioned over the Scales Symbol on the outer ring. The symbols matching from the middle ring should be the Music Instrument and the Jar.
- All Three Stone Ring Active
Use Stab and move the metal grate a little to the right until the two Horse symbols from the outer and middle rings align under it. This will complete the puzzle and unlock the reward for you.
Reward
When the puzzle is complete, a door in the central structure will open at its base, and you will be able to get the Abyss Artifact from the Abyss Cresset.
