LucasArts is looking at Star Wars 1313 and Star Wars Underworld TV Show Again

The canceled Star Wars 1313 Game & Underworld TV Show may have future!

Both the TV Show and the Video game were canceled when Disney took over Star Wars from Lucas. The new owner scraped and canceled the production of the two products. The events in the game and TV Series were supposed to be located and happening on Coruscant.

After publishing this crazy good and funky video teaser during E3 2012, LucasArts did nothing much in terms of updates until 2013. As soon as Disney bought the Star Wars trademark, they immediately canceled the development. I personally knew very little, next to nothing about the TV Show Star Wars Underworld, so I can’t even say how was it going before it too was stopped and ditched at the same time in 2013.

Now, more than 2 years later, rumors started appearing. According to this article and this video, the video game and TV show may see the day light one day. Possibly not in the same form as they were originally planed, but one thing is for sure, leaving 1313 to die before it was even ready, was a huge mistake! We all want this game to have future. The little we saw and heard (from official sources!) is more than enough to rise the hype in us, the loyal (and crazy) Star Wars fans.

Here’s a very interesting and confirming the rumors quote from Slashfilm‘s interview with Katheleen Kennedy:

“We don’t want to throw any of that stuff away,” Kennedy told Slashfilm. “It’s gold. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to.”
