INVITATION TO JOIN TEAM UNHOLY ALLIANCE
The following section is a special invitation from the Wokiee Alliance Team Captain for Extra Life 2018 – Gem. In the text below you will learn what games and events you can participate in SWTOR if you decide to join, how you can donate any amount of money you wish to for Extra Life and, of course – what Extra Life is (in case you are hearing about it for the first time).
Hello from Unholy Alliance Guilds! This is Gem and I am so excited to tell you all about our Extra Life Event this year. Beginning at 11AM EDT, we will launch our 12hr gaming marathon. This year we have more exciting activities for you to participate in.
Before anything can happen we need to gather together on the guild ship. Since we will have thirty minutes for this, logging in before the start time for mic checks will help. Be sure to whisper someone in UA for a guild invite.
Our second event will be two rounds of Quiplash with KidLee. Even if you don’t make a team, you can still play by being a part of the audience. KidLee will give instructions for that at the time of the event. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place as well as door prizes.
Who is Paxton Rall and why is he lurking in the cantinas? Find out when you join Mox on his crawl through the cantinas for this achievement.
Do you love racing? Then you will love the Correllian Run and Gun Grand Prix! 2-3 rounds of racing madness with KidLee as your host! Placement prizes will be distributed as well as door prizes.
Old School is making a comeback in the Kickin’ It Old School Mount Show. Alise is inviting you to bring your favorite mount for an old school car show! Door prizes as well as placement prizes will be awarded.
Right after the meal we will join Mox and JT for their SWTOR style game show. You know this show never disappoints! This year’s game is the SWTOR Match Game! Placement prizes as well as door prizes will be given away!
Ever heard of Desperately Seeking Susan? Well, you may not be an 80’s child but you can enjoy Seeking CZ-198 on the Pub side! Gem will be leading this expedition for toons lvl 52 and up who have their macrobinoculars. Don’t have yours at go time? Not a problem, just follow the instructions and she will hook you up.
It may be outlawed in many systems but not on Rishi! Join Sechari in the new Rishi stronghold for Last Man Standing SWTOR Style! It’s going to be a smashing good time!
Who doesn’t love a superhero? To help wind up our night, Kirk and Jess are teaming up to host the Superhero Costume Contest followed by a dance party! Placement prizes as well as door prizes will be awarded so start working on those costumes now.
So be sure to join us on Saturday, November 3rd at 11 am EDT for fun and a good cause. Remember all money donated goes to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

WHAT IS EXTRA LIFE
Extra Life is part of the Children’s Miracle Network charity which is a highly rated organization for hospitalized kids. Participants choose which hospital to sponsor by playing for either a full 24-hour marathon or a 12-hour half marathon. They ask their friends and family to sponsor them like a bike-athon or 5k. There are some prizes to be won this year, including SWTOR Cartel Coin Cards, Cartel Packs, rare in-game items and other Star Wars related prizes that will be announced as the event draws near. Many from within the community will be streaming this event again this year.
Some of the player events this year will be:
- A Demolition Derby
- Mount Show & Expo (much like the car shows)
- The Cantina Crawl Achievement
- Our Annual re-creation of a television game show with special guests!
- Seeking Cz
- Dance Party with the one & only Jess
And much more - There will also be lots of giveaways just for showing up and playing
While the Extra Life event on November 3rd is a 24hr gaming marathon, the Wookiee Alliance SWTOR team will only run a 12hr gaming marathon from 11am EST until 11pm EST. Players can choose to continue if the wish.
The team is hosted by the guild Unholy Alliance on the Satele Shan server but ANYONE is welcome to join the team or sponsor a member– no guild membership required at all. To sign up, go to bit.ly/SWTORExtraLife.

The 12-hours long live event will be live streamed by a number of SWTOR content creators. Unfortunately this year I will not be among them, but I will be a part of the games at least.
