Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hidden Ones Set and Codex Pages Guide

This guide will show you where to find the pieces of armor, weapon and codex pages from The Hidden Ones Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

There are no story spoilers here and you can collect this set very early on in the game. Don’t miss out!

What is the Hidden Ones Set

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla armor sets provide unique look for your character Eivor, but also bring special and unique set bonuses if you equip more than one piece that belong to the same set.

As soon as you set foot in England you can start collecting the five pieces of armor part of The Hidden Ones Set. They are scattered all over the country among the remains of old bureaus of The Hiden Ones order.

The Hidden Ones Set is among the best sets in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It provides bonuses and boosts to your stealthy gameplay and increases your bow’s power as well. It is a “Raven” gear and benefits from certain passives from the “Yellow” Skill Tree.

• (2) Increase Assassinatoin Damage when crouched and undetected for 10s
• (5) Additional increase to Headshot Damage

The numbers in the brackets show how many pieces of the set you need to equip to get the bonus perks. It doesn’t matter which armor pieces you slot as long as they belong to the same set.

There is a sixth bureau in England, it will give you a weapon. But let’s take it slowly and one by one. Let me show you where exactly to find each piece of the set and how to get them without too much trouble.

The bureaus are usually in cities and populated places. Some of them are marked as higher Power Level, but this doesn’t mean you have to wait that long to get the items.

Note that if you get the pieces earlier, they will require you to level them up. Having a nice set bonus to complete your Eivor build, however, is more important and fun and you should not have too much trouble upgrading the items through their tiers later on.

When can you get the Hidden Ones Set in AC Valhalla?
As soon as you land on England you are free to roam the country. All of the locations involved in this guide can be visited and the items can be obtained without fighting at all. There are not requirements or restrictions.

When should you get the Hidden Ones Set in AC Valhalla?
It depends on you playstyle. If you get the set early on (can get it as soon as Power Level 20 or so), but you will have to spend a few silver coins to upgrade it. If this set is what your Eivor’s build needs, there is no need to delay getting it.

The set makes you look more like an assassin, although still with a very heavy “Viking” style involved in the design of the outfit. Here are a few images of it. And don’t forget to check out the featured video above for an even better look.

Build The Hidden Ones Bureau in your Settlement

If you opt to build the Hidden Ones a bureau before you set off to discover the bureaus, you will be able to do two things with one go. It is not a requirement to do this for the set.

After you build the bureau in your Settlement, Hytham will ask you to help him with a quest. He gives you the “A Brief History of the Hidden Ones“. Hytham believes that forgotten knowledge is stored in the Hidden Ones’ bureaus. You have to seek them out.

These documents are usually in the same spot where you will find the set pieces. These codex pages are very easy to obtain and will grant you a nice reward from Hytham in exchange for bringing them back to him.

How to get the Hidden Ones Set in A Valhalla

The Hidden Ones set contains five armor pieces and one dagger weapon. The following sections of this guide will take you step-by-step through all of the obstacles to obtain the items and get the full set.

Hidden Ones’ Mask | Londinium Bureau

The helmet is hidden in Londinium (Power Level 90 area), inside the Londinium Bureau. In the north-eastern corner, among the Roman ruins you will have to climb up all the way to the top of one of them and do a Leap of Fate into a water pool.

In the water there are two extra chests with additional items. Pick them up. Break the wooden barricade and surface pup in the side room. Jump on the wooden platform and find a good spot to aim at these red vases.

To access the bureau you need to shoot at the red vases placed right behind the wall of rocks. Then simply enter, pick up the key, the Codex Page and the Mask Helm. Get the key to unlock the door and allow yourself an easy access later, just in case.

Hidden One’s Hood | Camulodunum Bureau

The Hidden One’s Hood is in Essexe, in Colcestre, which is a Power Level 160 area. The Bureau is in the southern corner of the city.

Among the Roman ruins find the hidden entrance on the floor. Nearby there are a few flammable objects (vases) that you can carry through the tree to the hidden floor-door.

Place the vase on top of the entrance, move away and shoot to explode it.

When you reach the room from the image below, dive under water.

Take a right turn to find the underwater stairs that lead up and around until you find yourself in this position (image below). Down in front of you is the water you just dove under a moment ago. Look up now, swing to the other side, careful not to fall. Dive again under water to find the key. Get back up and go through the door using the key you just looted. Aim and shoot off the locking mechanism to unlock the door on the other side of the room.

Swing back to the other side of the room and enter through the door. That’s it. Welcome to the Bureau and its treasures! The Codex Page is on the opposite wall of this room (behind you).

Hidden One’s Robes | Eboracum Bureau

This one is quite easy to find the entrance to. In the northern parts of the country, on the southern border of Jorvik (Power Level 190), just south-east from the Jorvik Theatre you will find a wooden square that is the entrance to the underground base.

Shoot the wood to reveal the entrance and jump down.

Dive under water, swim to the next room. Sneak through the hole in the wall to find yourself in this room:

I will leave it to you to explore it and pick up the additional items scattered around and will focus on the main objective – the chest piece.

From the entrance, turn to the right and then left to reach the far right corner of the room, where an object is blocking a small hole in the wall. Move it to access the hole and side through. Follow the corridor until you reach this door.

Welcome to the Eboracum Bureau! Onto the keys mini puzzle. The first key is up here:

Insode the Crypt you will find the Hidden One’s Robes.

Next to it is another key – for the chest. The Codex Page is in the Crypt as well, in the corner on a shelf. The chest in the previous room has Ingot inside.

Hidden One’s Gloves | Ratae Bureau

The Hidden One’s Gloves are hidden in the Ratae Bureau in Ledecestre, a Power Level 20 area. The bureau is in the north-eastern part of the town, in a ruin, of course.

To access the dungeon, shoot off this bag of rocks that will break the ground and reveal the secret entrance. It’s on the western side of the circle of columns.

Hidden One’s Leggings | Temple of Ceres Bureau

The final piece of The Hidden One’s Armor Set – the leggings, is in the far western end on the map, in a Power Level 220 area, called Forest of Denu. It’s west of Glowecestre.

The entrance to the underground facility is a small hole in the wall between two large statues (the small dark spot at the bottom of the image below).

As you enter, turn to your right and break the items blocking the hole in the wall. Slide through it. The green clouds are poisonous. If you throw a Torch at it, it will clear it off. Thanks to TonySk for the tip, by the way!

In the adjacent room there is a wooden floor that you can break and jump down. Follow the path to the stairs. Pick up one of the flamable vases and get it to the dark room’s corner at the end of the staircase.

Once through, simply open the chest and pick up your armor piece, then click on the codex page (on a table on the right) and get out. Don’t rush to the chest of the fire from the explosion may burn you.

Suttungr’s Claw Dagger | Venta Belgarum Bureau

The last piece is the weapon and it’s in a Power Level 250 region, called Wincestre. It’s in the south-western end on the map.

When you jump in, swim underwater all the way down until you find this room:

At the end of this corridor you will see a break-able wall section. First move the heavy object to your left to uncover the door behind it. Break the lock on the door to your left. Go through the door to the other side of the next room and pick up a flamable vase. Carry it back to the end of the corridor to the exploding piece of the wall as shown in the image below:

The final Codex Page and the Suttungr’s Claw dagger are both here in this room. Congratulations, you now own a complete Hidden Ones Set and the Dagger.

A Brief History of the Hidden Ones Walktrough

The tougher part of this quest was explained in the above sections of this guide. After you have collected all six Codex Pages from all of the Bureaus spread across England, return back to Hytham to tell him the good news.

To be able to complete the quest, you need to have to talk to Reda, the black market merchant, who will become available to you in your Settlement after a specific mission from the main storyline.
