What is the Magister’s Set

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla armor sets provide unique look for your character Eivor, but also bring special and unique set bonuses if you equip more than one piece that belong to the same set.

The Magister’s Set is a collection of armor pieces available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is part of the Raven gear collection (Assassin/Stealth Skill Tree) and any yellow passive increasing Raven gear from your Skill Tree will directly increase the stats of this set.

The Magister’s Set contains the following set bonuses:

  • (2) Increase Melee Damage at night
  • (5) Additional increase to Ranged Damage

The numbers in the brackets show how many pieces of the set you need to equip to get the bonus perks. It doesn’t matter which armor pieces you slot as long as they belong to the same set.

When can you get the Magister’s Set in AC Valhalla?
All five pieces are available in England and you can obtain them at any point as soon as you land there. Unlike with the Hidden Ones Set, this one will take you to guarded areas and you will either have to fight your way through, or be clever with sneaking. The areas are all with a relatively low Power Level requirement, so it should not be a problem to get all pieces easily and early on.

When should you get the Magister’s Set in AC Valhalla?
It depends on you playstyle. If you get the set early on (can get it as soon as Power Level 30-40 or so). If this set is what your Eivor’s build needs, there is no need to delay getting it.

In the video and images below you can take a closer look at the armor from all sides.

How to get the Magister’s Set in Valhalla

The Magister’s set contains five armor pieces. The Bracers, Pants and Torso are in Oxenefordscire and the Cloak and Helmet are in east Anglia. The following sections of this guide will take you step-by-step through all of the obstacles to obtain the items and get the full set.

Magister’s Mask

The Mask is in King’s Bury in East Anglia, on the shores of Amynnesmere River.

Inside the stone building with the big guys inside (east side) you will find the chest with the mask and a key.

Magister’s Cloak

The Cloak is in Serpent’s Landing in East Anglia, at the very northern border of the region – it’s a small island.

Pick up the key on a table outside and enter the hut. Break the wooden door to reach the two chests. The locked one is the one with the armor piece.

Magister’s Robes

The Magister’s Robes are a bit more tricky to get. You may have to clear the area to be able to operate normally. The armor piece is in Leah Villa Garrison, a little to the north from Oxeneforda.

On the roof terrace of one of the buildings there is a large movable stones-shelf. Move it to the side and enter the room with the flammable vases.

Break the door locking mechanism and carry a flammabla vase to the building in front of the one you are in. Put the item in front of the exploding all segment and hit it with an arrow to create an entrance.

The chest is right in front of your eyes inside.

Magister’s Vambraces

The bracers are in the northern part of Buckingham, in Oxeneforda.

Pick up the key for the church’s door. It’s on a bench in the church’s front yard. You can use the monks that roam about as cover. They conveniently take exactly the route you need – to the key and then to the door. Unlock the door and

When inside, look up. There is a folded-up wooden ladder. Shoot the weak spot to extend its lower part and climb on it to the upper floor.

Magister’s Trousers

The final piece of the Magister’s Set, the pants, are in Odeneforda, in the church.

Climb up and break one of the colored-glass windows. Find the weak spot of the hanging weight and shoot it.

Look up. Shoot an arrow at this weak section of the ceiling to create an opening.

Once you are up on the next floor, move the heavy object to the side and enter the room with the chest.
