This is a detailed guide showing you where and how to obtain all five parts of the Brigandine Armor Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This set is a Bear Gear type of armor and will benefit from the Red Skill Tree Passives!

How to get the Brigandine Set in Valhalla

What is the Brigandine Set

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla armor sets provide unique look for your character Eivor, but also bring special and unique set bonuses if you equip more than one piece that belong to the same set.

The Brigandine Set is a collection of armor pieces available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is part of the Bear gear collection (Assassin/Stealth Skill Tree) and any red passive increasing Bear gear from your Skill Tree will directly increase the stats of this set. This is a mid-tier armor set. You can, of course, level it up.

The Brigandine Set contains the following set bonuses:

(2) Increase Armor when surrounded by more than 2 enemies
(5)Additional increase to Melee Damage

The numbers in the brackets show how many pieces of the set you need to equip to get the bonus perks. It doesn’t matter which armor pieces you slot as long as they belong to the same set.

When can you get the Brigandine Set in AC Valhalla?
All five pieces are available in England. Unlike the Hidden Ones Set, this one will take you to guarded areas and you will either have to fight your way through, or be clever with sneaking. You could do it at low, but you will have to be extra cautious to avoid fights with overpowered foes.

When should you get the Brigandine Set in AC Valhalla?
It depends on you playstyle. You can get the set early on (can get it as soon as Power Level 70 or so). Note that some of the areas are high level and heavily guarded. I managed to get through all of it at Power Level 83. If this set is what your Eivor’s build needs, there is no need to delay getting it.

How to get the Brigandine Set in Valhalla

The Brigandine set contains five armor pieces. The bracers, pands and torso are in Cent. The helmet and cloak are in Sciropescire. The following sections of this guide will take you step-by-step through all of the obstacles to obtain the items and get the full set. I always structure these guides in the same order – from head to feet, so the order in which I describe the locations is not necessary the best order to get them if you are aiming to save time.

Brigandine Helm

The Helmet is in a cave in an Outpost in Sciropescire.

Move this “menhir” to reveal the gap in the wall and sneak in. When you exit, remember to put the “mehnir” back in place, to keep the indoors warm.

Brigandine Cape

The Cape is in a cave just north from Quatford, in west Sciropescire.

At the shores you will find a boat full of exlosives, “parked” near a stone wall. Hit the flammable vase in the boat to clear the entrance.

Follow the tunnel until you reach the end. There is a heavy piece of rock you have to move to gain access to the room with the chest.

The chest is to your left. Don’t mind the rats in the room :)))

Brigandine Armor

The torso is in the Cantebury Cathedral in Cent.

Get up on the mansard interior balcony and break the lock mechanism of the wooden doors blocking the way on the other side of the cathedral’s main room.

Go around and pass through the door you just unlocked. Follow the stairs down until you reach the small room with the hanging platform and the weak stone floor beneath it.

Bring the wooden platform down to reveal the hidden chest underneath.

There is an Opal node next to the chest. Opal is very rare in the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Reda’s Shop trades with it and offers incredibly expensive shiny items.

Brigandine Gauntlets

The gloves from this set are in Beamasfield in Cent.

You will need two keys to reach the chest with the gloves. The first key is in this house. You can get in from the small window to the right of the main door.

The second key is in a small camp behind the house with the chest. The key is on a wooden pile serving as a table

The chest itself is on the second floor of the main building and has two locks – hence the two keys.

Brigandine Trousers

The chest is in a cave near the docks at Dover Fortress – the south-eastern shores of Cent.

Pick up a flammable vase from the docks and bring it to the masked hole in the ground up in the corner. The pots are a little back towards the water.

Once you are down, break the weak wooden door and get your item!
