What is the Fallen Heroes Armor Set
The Fallen Heroes armor set is exclusively available as loot from the gear chests at the end of the Tombs of the Fallen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.4.0.
The Fallen Heroes set is part of the Wolf gear collection and any Blue passives increasing Wolf gear from your Skill Tree will directly increase the stats and boost performance of this set. This is a Superior tier armor set. You can, of course, level it up.
The Fallen Heroes armor set has the following set bonuses:
- (2 Pieces Equipped) Increase Armor, Melee Damage and Ranged Damage when equipped
Bonus: +10.0 to Armor
Bonus: +15.0 to Melee Damage
Bonus: +15.0 to Ranged Damage - (5 Pieces Equipped) Getting hit drops a purple that explodes after a delay, dealing damage in an area and knocking down enemies.
Cooldown: 10s

The numbers in the brackets show how many pieces of the set you need to equip to get the bonus perks. It doesn’t matter which armor pieces you slot as long as they belong to the same set.

When can you get the Fallen Heroes Set in AC Valhalla?
All five pieces are available in England. They are rewards for completing the four Tombs of the Fallen – newly released hidden dungeons, part of the free content update that arrived with AC Valhalla Patch 1.4.0 on November 9 2021.
You can get the armor set as soon as you land in England and build your settlement. There is literally no fighting involved while exploring the Tombs of the Fallen.
When should you get the Fallen Heroes Set in AC Valhalla?
The Tombs of the Fallen offer some interesting puzzles. If you are a new player, you might struggle with some of them, but that’s why I have in-depth guides to every single location. If you are a veteran, going through the tombs would be faster and easier. And certain skills that Eivor may have learned along the way, will be helpful to speed things up.
I suggest you get this armor set as soon as possible. There’s nothing stopping you from visiting the tombs after you get to England from Norway in the main story, which happens quite early on.
Fallen Heroes Armor Set visual overview
In the video and images below you can take a closer look at the armor from all sides.

How to get the Fallen Heroes Set in Valhalla
The Fallen Heroes armor set is built from five pieces – helm, cape, chest, boots and bracers. They are all available as loot at the end of the Tombs of the Fallen.
Where to find the Fallen Heroes Cape
The cape is in the Manius’s Sanctum – this is the first out of four Tombs of the Fallen. This one is the easiest and quickest to get.
The tomb is located just south from Ravensthorpe.

I have an in-depth guide to the Manius’s Sanctum, where you will find detailed information on how to enter the tomb, how to solve the puzzles and complete it.

Where to find the Fallen Heroes Greaves and Bracers
The next two items are both available from chests hidden at the last chamber of the Boudicca Tomb.
Boudicca Tomb is located in East Anglia just west from Elmenhalm.

If you need help finding the tomb and solving all of its puzzles to unlock the room with the new gear pieces, consult with my step-by-step guide to the Boudicca Tomb.

Where to find the Fallen Heroes Breastplate
The Fallen Heroes chest armor piece is hidden in the locked chamber of Cassivellanus Tomb.
The Cassivellaunus Tomb is located in Sciropescire, directly west of Repton and between the banks of the Afon Hafren River and Trent River.

Check out my detailed walkthrough and guide to the Cassivellanus Tomb in AC Valhalla to find out how to enter the dungeon and how to complete its puzzles to get the armor piece.

Where to find the Fallen Heroes Helmet
The Fallen Heroes Helmet is a loot drop from the gear chest in the locked chamber of the Venutius Tomb.
The Venutius Tomb is in the northern parts of England – in Eurvicscire. It’s just north from Anlaf’s Lookout, which makes it very convenient for quick-travel.

This is likely the most challenging and most interesting of all four tombs. I, of course, have the full walkthrough for it, so you’d know how to find the Venutius Tomb and solve the puzzles inside to get to the gear chest.
