Guide to all Isle of Skye Weapons Locations on Isle of Skye in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Hero’s Sword and Spear of Leonidas!

If you need some help starting this story arc, I have a guide on how to get to the Isle of Skye and start the “A Fated Encounter” story arc there.

Now that you are on the island already, it doesn’t matter if you do the story first or explore the island as soon as you land. Below is a full map of Isle of Skye, for reference.

I will have detailed maps and step-by-step instructions for you further below for each of the new weapons available on the island.

How to get Hero’s Sword

The Hero’s Sword is a one-handed short sword. It belongs to the Bear tree (red). It has the following bonuses:

Increase Assassination Damage and Stealth Damage when equipped.
Bonus: +15.0 Assassination Damage
Bonus: +15.0 Stealth Damage

The Hero’s Sword is located at the top of the map of the Isle of Skye. It is in the Duntulm Camp.

The treasure chest containing the sword is in stone ruins of an old tower, on the edge of the camp, overlooking the sea.

It has two locks. You will need to get the two keys first. They are both nearby in the same camp.

The first key is inside the red tent on the very edge of the north side of the camp. The entrance to the tent is on the back side, you’ll have to slide through.

It is guarded. You will find the key on a wooden table inside the tent.

The second key is in an NPC located inside one of the wooden buildings on the east side of the camp.

You can kill the Goliath or attempt to steal the key if you prefer a stealth approach. Guess which one I chose :)))

Time to head back to the tower ruins and unlock the chest!

How to get the Spear of Leonidas

The Spear of Leonidas is a Wolf-school weapon (blue) and has the following perk:

Increase Attack, Melee Damage, Ranged Damage and Ability Damage when havint at least one filled adrenaline slot.
Bonus: +10.0 Attack
Bonus: +15.0 Melee Damage
Bonus: +15.0 Ranged Damage
Bonus: +20.0 Ability Damage

It is located in the most south-western corner of the map – Dun Ardtreck. Yes, you guessed it – a hostile camp.

Spear of Leonidas Map Location in AC Valhalla

The treasure chest is locked with only one lock. The key is in an NPC called “Macbeth”. He is on a wooden platform overlooking the sea on the eastern end of the camp.

The chest itself is inside the stone building in the middle of the camp, on the highest ground. The entrance is on the north side.

The chest is to your right as you enter.
