Adrian by Adrian|

A complete catalog of every outfit and armor in Horizon Forbidden West, featuring high-quality front and back previews, detailed descriptions, and clear instructions on where and how to obtain them.

How Outfits work in Horizon Forbidden West

Outfits in Horizon Forbidden West are essentially armor sets that determine how Aloy performs in combat and alter her visual appearance.

You can obtain a few unique outfits in the game by completing missions to unlock them. The vast majority of outfits are available for purchase from Stitchers around the big settlements. Others can be traded for medals and tags earned at the Arena.

You can upgrade outfits to unlock more perks and stats boosts. There are four tiers available: Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare and Legendary. The higher the tier, the more passive perks and skill boosts you will have. The more you upgrade an outfit, the more perks you will unlock.

You can use one outfit for its stats and another for its looks. This feature is commonly known in video games as transmogrification or transmog.

In the catalog below you will see information about each outfit describing its appearance, what builds it is best used for, how to get it, what you will need to do or how much you have to pay.

If you want to learn more about gear, weapons, and how they work make sure to check our Horizon Forbidden West Gearing Guide.
