Star Wars Outlaws: Jabba’s Favor Quest Walkthrough

Siow by Siow|

This guide will show you how to complete the quest Jabba’s Favor in Star Wars Outlaws. Jabba needs you to find the identity of a spy in his palace, and the only way to determine this is to access the databanks of Fort Sunfire on Tatooine.

How to get the Jabba’s Favor Quest

After attempting to escape from Jabba’s Palace while rescuing Nix, Jabba sends Kay and Vail on a mission. He needs them to find a Zerek Besh spy in his palace.

This information can only be found in the Imperial base, Fort Sunfire, and only when the spy is identified will Kay be allowed to leave Tatooine alive.

Stealing the Data from Fort Sunfire

You will need to meet up with Vail at the rendezvous point outside Fort Sunfire. She’ll be up on a rocky plateau that you’ll need to climb up to.

If you go south of where you met Vail, you’ll see a rock bridge that leads to the west side of Fort Sunfire. Follow the arrows seen below to enter, but mind the scout troopers on the right.

Once you’ve climbed to the rocky ledge, work your way down and knock out the four Imperials ahead of you. Do this quietly to avoid alerting the entire base.

Go inside the tunnel to the right and avoid the security cameras. You’ll reach an open door that’ll lead into the AT-ST hangar.

There’s a patrolling heavy trooper and an officer ahead. Wait for the heavy trooper to turn away from you before knocking out the Imperial officer. The officer will drop an Elevator Access Keycard. Knock out the heavy trooper next to clear this walkway.

The lower level of the hangar has four Imperials, three are patrolling back and forth and a technician is hidden behind some boxes to the west. Knock them out to safely access a large chest in this area.

The chest is guarded by a security camera that’ll alert the entire base if you’re caught. Have Nix destroy a nearby power conduit to turn off the camera and loot the chest for some upgrade materials.

If you’re brave enough to sneak around the patrolling AT-ST, you can go outside the hangar past the two security cameras to the north. Outside you’ll find another chest and a locked room that requires the Vault Codes.

The second chest is in a building blocked off by laser gates. You can send Nix to sabotage a power conduit inside the building to bring down the gates. Inside you’ll find a large chest containing upgrade materials.

The Vault room is to the west end of the exterior area. It’s guarded by a security camera that’s powered by a nearby power conduit you can sabotage.

You can come back here when you have the vault codes, but this requires you to return to Fort Sunfire after this quest complete.

When you do return for this vault, you’ll find a data port you can slice for 1,000 credits and a large chest containing a Blaster Recirculator component and the Rogue Coating for your blaster.

We’re done with large chests in the lower area, so go back inside the AT-ST hangar and go to the upper level where you first arrived.

There’s a ray shield guarding an entrance to the east. Use your data spike to unlock the panel to the right and proceed into the next room.

Knock out the Imperial officer first then the stormtrooper commander. Crawl into the vent on the east wall and you’ll enter a maintenance shaft.

Look for some yellow grates in the room and start climbing up. You’ll run into a large fan that can blow you to a hidden large chest.

Climb to the center area of the fan and let it blow you into a shaft across the other side of the room. You’re more likely to land in there and not hit an invisible wall if you’re moving right as the fan turns on.

If you successfully made it into the shaft, you’ll be greeted by a large chest containing the Imperial Plaques vehicle trinket. Once you get this chest, continue climbing to the top of the maintenance shaft and crawl through the vent.

The next room you enter will have two technicians in the area and a heavy trooper in a room guarded by a ray shield. Knock out the two technicians and disable the power conduit seen in the image below.

This will bring down the ray shield where you can knock out the heavy trooper and get a small chest filled with upgrade materials.

Once you’ve looted this area, go through one of the large doors on the north side of the room to go outside. Go west and you’ll find a technician and a scout trooper you need to knock out.

Once they’re knocked out, climb up the metal bars on the rock wall to climb upwards. When you reach the top, you’ll be right outside the control room of Fort Sunfire.

Stay crouched and hug the right wall to make sure none of the Imperials inside spot you.

When you make it to the other side, sneak by the security camera and go inside the vent. You’re almost to the control room but there’s a few more obstacles in the way.

You’ll find yourself in a computer room with two stormtroopers. Wait for one stormtrooper to leave, knock out the remaining one, then slice into the nearby computer.

Slicing into this computer terminal will allow you to deactivate the security camera in the hall in front of you and a nearby security door.

Knock out the stormtrooper patrolling the hall ahead then make your way into the control room. Knock out the two Imperial officers in the control room to safely access the computers inside.

Start by slicing into the data port on the west side of the room. Slicing into this allows you to open a security door in the hall leading to the control room.

Check out the room you unlocked before slicing into the main computer. You’ll find a large chest containing credits, a small chest with upgrade materials, and Imperial Intel on Jaylen.

Return to the control room and slice the main computer on the left side of the desk. The right side has an inactive computer that will grant the Vault codes should you return here later to slice it.

Slice into the active computer and a cutscene will start. After the cutscene is over, the alarm will sound and you’ll be attacked by Imperials.

Escape with Vail

You’ll need to use the elevator at the end of the hall to make your way down and back into the AT-ST hangar. As fun as it might be to mow down the Imperials, they won’t stop coming and sooner or later they’ll wear you down.

You’ll need to run back out the same way you came in, through the rocky tunnel with the two security cameras. You’ll meet Vail outside with your speeder. Mount your speeder and get out of Fort Sunfire.

You two need to rendezvous with Jabba’s contacts at a nearby location. Don’t get ahead of Vail as you’ll need to follow her, otherwise you risk riding out of bounds and restarting this segment.

You’ll lose the Imperials and end up at Mos Algo where you need to meet Jabba’s Enforcers. Follow your marker to the safehouse and a cutscene will start.

Jabba’s enforcers are not there as Bib Fortuna ordered them to retreat as you and Vail were followed. It turns out you didn’t lose the Imperials after all and now you’ll need to fight waves of stormtroopers.

Do your best to survive and take down as many Imperials as you can. After a bit of time, a cutscene will start.

After the cutscene, you’ll be back in the Mos Eisley hangar bay and Jabba will forgive you and Vail for your blatant disrespect against him.

Your time on Tatooine has come to an end as Jaylen feels the crew may not even need a Heavy with Kay’s combat skills being displayed on this mission.

After you complete Jabba’s Favor, several new side quests will become available:

  • Talk to Bib Fortuna to start the side quest Convoy.
  • Talk to EE’zok to start the side quest Defector.
  • Talk to Jabba’s contact on Toshara to start the side quest Jabba’s Gambit.

Our walkthroughs explain all of the decisions you have to make during those quests and what you earn and lose from your choices.
