Star Wars Outlaws The Heist Quest Walkthrough

Siow by Siow|

This guide will show you how to complete the Star Wars Outlaws quest, The Heist. After gathering her crew and stealing Sliro’s codes, Kay can once again attempt to break into the Zerek Besh Vault and get away with the galaxy’s biggest heist.

How to get The Heist Quest

The Heist is the second to last main story quest for Star Wars Outlaws. To get this quest you need to have completed the previous quest, The Truth.

The situation is tense and will require you to be at your absolute best in terms of sneaking and combat prowess. If you’ve come this far, it’s too late to turn back without loading an older save and losing all your progress.

You’ll be Bram’s bar on Canto Bight before you start The Heist. Take some time to talk to everyone in your crew then talk to ND-5 to start the quest when you’re ready.

Sneaking into the Zerek Besh Stronghold

The first part of the job is to get through the exterior defenses. You’ll see a large, grassy area with 11 Zerek Besh guards, 8 of which are patrolling their areas.

These guards have a large detection radius, so be extra sneaky and use the tall grass for cover. Mark your targets with your binoculars and be sure to take down the snipers to make sneaking through the area easier.

After clearing the area, Gedeek will prepare a mouse droid to blow up the laser gate’s components. As he’s doing this, have Nix fetch one of the Zerek Besh weapons for you. You’re going to need a good weapon in a moment, I suggest one of the sniper rifles.

When the energy gate is down, a fight will break out with the remaining Zerek Besh guards. Take them all out and when the fight is over, Asara will open the hatch that goes inside the stronghold.

Climb down into the hatch with Gedeek and Riko. A powered fan is in the way that you need to shut off. Rappel down a grapple point, have Nix open a shutter on the south end of the air duct, blast the conduit inside, and then go through the fan.

When you go into the fan, Gedeek and Riko will take the path to the right. If you go left, you’ll find a large chest containing credits.

Catch up with Gedeek and Riko to find them stuck at another fan. Climb up the grates to the south and work your way towards the suspended walkway.

Once you hop onto the metal bar above the pipe, it’ll give way and you’ll be dropped into the large pipe below.

You’ll find yourself in some pipes that branch out several times. These pipes look more confusing than they actually are, both lead to the same location at the end.

If you make a right and then a left, you’ll find a room with a small chest and a vent that leads to the exit. Use the grapple point to rappel down into the hangar bay.

The Zerek Besh Hangar Bay

The hangar bay is the hardest part of this level, so once you get past here the rest should be simple in comparison.

There are numerous Zerek Besh Enforcers and Droids that can only be taken down quietly with the electro-shock prod.

The best way to go about this hangar is to stick to the right (south wall) while knocking out any Zerek Besh along the way.

The southern half of the hangar bay will grant access to some computers that allow you to open the doors on the upper levels and turn off security cameras to get by.

Once you reach the far east end of the hangar, sneak your way north past the Zerek Besh enforcers. Climb up the ladder to the suspended walkway and go into the vent on the east wall.

Finding a Way to the Vault

When you get through the vent, you’ll find a large chest to the northwest that contains upgrade materials. Once you loot the chest, look east and go through the pipes.

You’ll be in a room with Zerek Besh guards, knock them all out and look for a turbolift on the east wall.

The turbolift is unpowered and the door it leads to won’t open when you get near it. To power the lift, shoot the conduit to the south with your ion blaster.

As for the door, the wall that is left of the elevator has a conduit that powers it. You won’t be able to open the door and make the ride up at the same time. The door only remains open for a few seconds when powered.

To get past the door, you need to ride the lift up and then hop onto some metal ledges on the south wall and onto a walkway. Shoot the lift conduit first and when it’s halfway up, shoot the door conduit.

Jump down to the lift and go through the door before it closes. You’ll meet up with Gedeek and Riko.

The Zerek Besh Vault

Follow Gedeek and Riko, unlock a door with your data spike, and you’ll be back in the Zerek Besh Vault. This time around, you’re fully prepared to loot this vault.

Riko will slice open the first ray shield in your way. Follow her into the security room and slice the terminal to disable the turrets while she turns off the ray shield.

With the vault’s defenses down, reach the vault entrance and a cutscene with the gatekeeper droid will start. Once it’s over, you’ll be inside the vault again. Being back in here brings back a lot of memories, doesn’t it?

Place Ank’s explosive charge on the vault, enjoy the fireworks and pick up one of the blasters on the racks.

After you blow up the vault door, you’ll be attacked by waves of Zerek Besh agents. Defeat them all, you’ll be fine if you make good use of cover and adrenaline rush.

After the fight, you’ll watch a cutscene and the crew will take off with their haul. Now it’s time for the grand escape through the Canto Bight Casino.

Escaping the Canto Bight Casino

Follow Riko and Gedeek upstairs and look for a wall you can blow up with your power blaster. Once the wall is down, you’ll access the casino and reunite with Asara.

The casino will be abandoned after Zerek Besh scared off all the patrons. Throughout this area, you’ll be able to find numerous trinkets left behind during the escape.

Numerous ray shields will block your exit. Riko will slice into the defenses to expose the power generators found on the arches near the shields. Shoot down the two generators above the barrier to get through.

Once you reach the second gate, Zerek Besh enforcers and agents will come out from the sides of the room. More will come in waves, so use the brief respites between waves to take down the 5 generators.

The central barrier will have 3 generators above it. You can find one additional generator to its left and right above the smaller barriers.

Repeat this one more time to get out of the last barrier. There are 8 generators, 4 are above the main barrier while the two side arches have 2 generators above them.

When all the shields are down, just run to the Trailblazer and don’t stop for anything. A cutscene will start and you’ll start the final quest, Revelator.
