Star Wars Outlaws Journal Tab Overview

Often, you will first discover a clue, or Intel. Follow it through to start the quest related to this Intel. Almost everything in the game is tracked through the journal, including vaults, key parts used to upgrade your abilities and gear, and contracts.

Quest Walkthroughs

To officially complete the game, you only need to follow the main story line and complete the quests labeled “Main Quest” in the Quests tab. A couple of times you will be required to complete an Expert quest as well in order to progress with the main quest. Everything else is optional.

We have a complete walkthrough for every main quest, side quest and all DLC quests. You can browse through the list below.

Experts and Key Parts

While exploring, you will often discover or receive Intel. These are helpful notes that often turn into a quest; they may point you to an expert, an upgrade, a hidden treasure.

Experts in Star Wars Outlaws are the main source for Kay to learn new abilities so she can overcome more challenging combat encounters and access areas new areas.

Vaults

There are two types of Vaults in Star Wars Outlaws: Syndicate Vaults and Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults.

The Syndicate Vaults are located in the main cities of the planets you explore. They are in a restricted area and offer a large amount of credits and other collectibles. To unlock them, you need to first collect the corresponding keycards.

Exploring Jet Kordo’s Legacy will lead you to several well-hidden vaults, all of them containing valuable loot, credits and cosmetics. To start this chain, you need to complete the first Holotracker quest.

Alongside the Vaults, you will be able to use the Holotracker to track and discover hidden treasures across Toshara, Tatooine and Akiva:

Contracts

Contracts are short, easy fetch type quests that you can unlock on each planet by talking to various Broker NPCs who will supply you with tasks.

Improving your reputation with the Syndicates in Star Wars Outlaws, will unlock new opportunities and higher-paid work, plus the chance to earn better rewards and further increase your reputation with them.

If you have any plans on unlocking all Achievements in the game, you’d better start farming Contracts early on. You need 40 for the “Honest work” achievement.
