Liabilities of Taris is a Galactic Season Weekly Objective for Empire and Republic players requiring you to find and defeat two high profile targets.
Where to find the mission
The “Liabilities of” missions can appear as Galactic Season Weekly Objectives. They are solo-friendly find-and-defeat-a-target quests that require you to go to a specific destination on the designated planet and defeat a Champion enemy.
To view the currently available objectives, open the Rewards window to the Galactic Seasons tab and click to view Objectives in the bottom left.
You can open this window from the menu bar by hovering on the first icon and choosing Login & Seasons Rewards
How this mission works
The mission includes high profile targets for Republic and Empire origin story players. The targets are friendly to one faction and hostile to the other.
You can find these targets at their locations at any time and attack them solo or with a group of players. They only count for the mission if it is listed for this week’s Galactic Season objectives.
The targets are visible and accessible to any level player, but to be able to comfortably defeat them, you should bring a character that is at the appropriate level range (or higher) for the planet. The high profile targets respawn very fast.
Given the fact that this is a low-level planet, you should not have any troubles defeating the targets. If you are struggling with them while leveling, upgrade your leveling gear by purchasing shells and mods on the Fleet.
Republic Targets
The Liabilities of Taris includes two targets for Republic players. The two targets are also part of the Liberator of Taris Achievement.
Jiinan E’ron
You can find Jiinan E’ron in the weestern Republic Resettlement Zone. He is located at the Blighted Courtyard, behind a large metal slab that blocks the pathway. From the Olaris Spaceport, head northeast, then follow the road north and turn west at the crossroad.
Urlos Du’Ram
You can find Urlos Du’Ram in southern Tularan Marsh. The target is at the southern most part of the map, in the Forgotten Undercity sub-region, standing in front of a military hut.
To reach him, the closest and easiest approach is from the Lytle Outpost. Jump on the west side and follow the road south. The location is to the left from the entrance to the Abandoned Power Plant (don’t go inside).
Empire Targets
The Liabilities of Taris includes two targets for Empire players. The two targets are also part of the Tyrant of Taris Achievement.
Maltok
You can find Maltok in the northern Republic Resettlement Zone. He is inside the rubble in the Lower City Ruins.
The entrance to this mini area is from the northeastern end. The quickest travel route is heading west from the Tower Command Station in The Sinking City zone. Alternatively, you can start from Crater Command Base in Republic Resettlement Zone and go north.
Reclamation Forerunner
You can find Reclamation Forerunner in the eastern Brell Sediment. He is located on the very right edge of the map. The shortest path to the location is from the Toxic Lake Garrison base.
At the Southern Shore sub-region, take the ramps and go around the metal wall.
