Eternal Championship is now live on PTS. It took them longer than intended, but testing has begun!
In_Game Chat and Mail Bioware knows of the spam in mail and chat, they have a bunch of automated systems to catch those messages, but cannot catch all of them. They ask for assistance – players must report such activity.
Chapter XII: Visions in the Dark
Launch was great, we all agree on it. Servers went up earlier than planned and no big game-breaking bugs are present. Instead of repeating the recap they did of the chapter, I advise you to check out my Walkthroughs and Highlights. Bioware is pleased with the responses from the community for Chapter XII – “best chapter so far”.
The new recruit available with this chapter is NOT a replacement of Khem Val. The fate of this classic SWTOR companion is still unknown. Together with the new patch a new Cartel Pack is also available – The Visionary Pack.
The 2 new PvP maps “Odessen Proving Grounds” (8v8) and “Rishi Cove Arena” (4v4) are now available for ALL players. With that Season 7 of Ranked PvP also started after a long break after Season 6.
With the separation of PvE and PvP instances, Eric explained why Bioware did not create a RP environment. It’s all a free area, so they didn’t seen the need for a RP instance as it will not have any rules to enforce to the player at all, so can be easily a part of the other already created instances.

May the 4th will be a special celebration. Rewards will include, like in previous years, some InGame items. This year we will have Astromech Droid Mini-Pet, Double XP Week (not 100% certain yet, most likely a week, though!), Giveaways and prices, Musco Marathon Live stream (he will sit to play all 13 Fallen Empire chapters at once). More details on these later in the month.
Chapter XIII: Profit and Plunger
Eternal Championship is planed for Chapter XIII. It’s already in testing, Bioware is hoping to have it ready to ship to the live servers by May. The event features 10 encounters with graduating difficulty, aimed at mostly new and casual players, trying to teach and show mechanics and tactics that are often present and required in EndGame group content. Bowdaar is not available on PTS at the moment, but will be a part of the Eternal Championship as a possible companion recruit. Bioware is aware that EC does not deliver in the rewards department, so the developers are going to look at the prizes again and see if they can add more and interesting items worth fighting for.

The new chapter is coming 3rd May in Early Access. Gault and Vette return. Players will liberate a fortune plundered by the Eternal Empire.
