SWTOR Top 5 Hard Mode Operations Boss Fights | New video introduction

Vulkk by Vulkk|

We’ve made our lists. It wasn’t easy. There are many options available :)

What kind of a post is this?
For some of my videos I will be posting short news to explain the contents and meaning of the specific video the article is aimed at. It’s a new idea of mine and, obviously, it wont happen for all of my content, but for some, more “special” and “unique” videos, such as my on going SWTOR series, some guides and perhaps even special Live Streams. Often what I can fit into the video’s description in YouTube isn’t enough. Combining that with the fact that most of us (me included) skip or forget to check it, and it’s important, I think this is a good way to draw in your attention and introduce a/the video properly.

I have been thinking of doing a live discussion on a cool SWTOR topic for a long time. This is my first attempt at it. The choice was “SWTOR Top 5 HM Ops Bosses”. Me and my friend (guildie and now a writer at VULKK.com too) Jim sat down to create our lists for the hardest bosses in SWTOR’s Operations at lvl 65, then we shared and compared them.

The format I choose was expected to provide for a much longer (in duration) video than a typical and standard “Top 5” clip would be. Yet, I think this was a good idea. We put in a lot of comments about each one of our positions in our lists. We argued whose list is better and why our choices were exactly these encounters on these positions from 1 to 5. We’ve made some funny flashbacks back through time as far as lvl 50 and 2012 to remember the early days of SWTOR raiding and how we met each other in Solstice.

The video had one rule – Revan to be excluded. Well, admit it. Would be interested to watch a Top 5 Bosses clip knowing Revan is by far the most challenging and tough fight in the game? I think he would have taken the Number 1 spot in pretty much any list possible, when it comes to HM.

And, on a side note, you might have noticed a change in my voiceover. Or… you might have not. There’s more than enough compression going on between my own audio production and the end stop – your ears. Both OBS and YouTube do a “good job” at it and you might have missed the difference. I demonstrated it with a few sample files to my Patrons the other day while I was still testing and tweaking. When you can hear the old and new voiceover, there’s a big difference. I was told my voice sounds now “more powerful”, which I liked as a description ^^

Here below is the full video from the discussion. If you have something to ask or add, please use the comments section here or on YouTube. And to make your choice easier when you decide to sit down and pick your Top 5 list to share with me, here is my recent SWTOR Operations Loot Table Guide (Patch 4.0+). And if you want to check some of my other “SWTOR Top 5” lists, check out the video Playlist.
