SWTOR Cantina Crawl Achievement Guide: How to find Paxton Rall

With the release of Game Update 5.9 “The Nathema Conspiracy” a new hidden achievement creeped out in Star Wars: The Old Republic – Cantina Crawl. It is related to a new companion that was not supposed to be out yet.

Forum user DarkLordSnake discovered on Patch Day 5.9 a new hidden achievement located among the Companion Achievements. Paxton Ral is, apparently, an upcoming new companion. This NPC was not supposed to be available and interact-able just yet. All you can do at the moment is find Paxton at various cantinas around the Galaxy and click on him. There are no conversations when you click on him at the moment, however, he makes interesting comments that you can read translated in the chat panel.

SWTOR Creative Director Charles Boyd explained on the forums that this is work-in-progress promotional item meant to be released later this year. It is likely that this achievement and Paxton will be pulled out from the game with an upcoming patch until the whole set is ready and released as planned.

To get the “Cantina Crawl” Achievement ahead of time, if you wish to do so, you should visit the following Cantinas and find Paxton, then click on him. You can do that with either a Republic or an Empire character. However, some of the cantinas are located in different places based on your faction allegiances.

  • Balmorra
  • Dromund Kaas/Coruscant (Depending on Faction)
  • Corellia
  • Imperial/Republic Fleet (Depending on Faction)
  • Hoth
  • Nar Shaddaa
  • Rishi
  • Taris
  • Tatooine
  • Zakuul
  • Alderaan

Achievement: Cantina Crawl: Talk to Paxton Rall in Cantinas:

Please, be warned that this is not intended to be available just yet. Getting the achievement now doesn’t mean much and it may cause some trouble for you when the mission/event is released. The achievement may get lost or bugged.

When the achievement and its corresponding mission are released officially, I will have a full guide available for you to check it out. For now, I offer you the two quick videos I shot from both Republic and Empire perspective.
