This is a complete guide of the SWTOR Rishi Stronghold. It includes unlocks and prices of each room, video tour and image galleries, new decorations!
The Rishi Stronghold is a unique and new kind of a player home. A type of Stronghold that Bioware have not done before. Apart from being gigantic, it also includes PvP areas and elements.
The Stronghold is NOT publicly accessible (unless you make it so). This is your own private pirate hideout and only those, who you allow to enter, can do so. Once players are in the PvP designated areas, though, it’s a Free-For-All! More on that below.

Video Walkthrough
This video will take to every single corner of the new Rishi Stronghold. It is voiced by me with some explanations of what you see, how various mechanics and places in the stronghold work (specificaly the PvP arenas). I even show you a couple of easter eggs.
Keep reading below for a full break-down of pricing for each expansion, overview of each main area and detailed maps of where the rooms and notable locations are and, of course, a big image gallery with great vistas to and from the stronghold.
Unlocking and Pricing
The Stronghold can be purchased for Credits or Cartel Coins. The Cartel Coins will allow you to pack up the Stronghold as it is and unpack it at a later point without losing anything. This is not the case if you use Credits.

To purchase the Stronghold, go to either the Strongholds and Crew Skills section on the Fleet or access the same panel that is located on Rishi. The Stronghold terminals are located in the Strongholds and Crew Skills section on the Fleet – in the outer circle of the main level.
The stronghold costs 3 000 000 Credits to unlock or 2 650 Cartel Coins. Additional twelve (that’s 12) expansions can be unlocked inside. Fully unlocked the Rishi Stronghold can accept up to 75 occupants.
Here are all 12 additional unlockable areas:
- The Overlook – 120 000 Credits | 1 000 C
- Cove – 2 000 000 Credits | 1 800 CC
- Hillside Room – 825 000 Credits | 600 CC
- Sun Room –ย 825 000 Credits | 600 CC
- Patrol Carrier – 1 500 000 Credits | 1200 CC
- Reactor Room – 975 000 Credits | 450 CC
- Training Room – 740 000 | 450 CC
- Starboard Quarters – 825 000 Credits | 600 CC
- Port Quarters – 830 000 Credits | 600 CC
- Captain’s Quarters – 830 000 Credits | 600 CC
- Bridge – 1 200 000 Credits | 725 CC
- Sky Deck – 2 800 000 CC | 2 000 CC

The rooms vary in price and decoration options inside. Both outside in the common areas and inside the rooms there are many and different hooks for you to modify any way you want and place whatever items you wish.
Some areas and rooms must be unlocked before others become accessible. If you follow the Video Walkthrough in the next section of this guide, you will get a clear understanding of what area is located where.
The major areas you need to unlock first to get access to the smaller ares and rooms are:
- The Cove
- The Carrier
- The Sky Deck
In the next few segments I’ll walk you through each region and show you which areas are located where. If you have the time, I highly recommend you take a look at the Video Walkthrough section where I will show you all rooms in much greater detail along with what hooks are available where.
The total price of all Stronghold rooms unlocked is 13 470 000 Credits or 10 625 Cartel Coins (not counting the initial unlocks for the Stronghold itself). The price for a Guild is around 87 mill credits.
Hideout
As you arrive in the Stronghold, behind you is a terminal that you can unlock – it will grant you access to the Patrol Carrier. We’ll leave this one for now and move forward.

In front of you are two terminals – the right one allows you to replay the Intro Cinematic whenever you want. The left one is the standard Exit menu.
If you move forward from the landing platform, you will arrive inside the first of two Free For All PvP designated areas. When you enter the area, your companion is deactivated automatically and you are notified via a red text on the screen that you have entered a PvP area. Here the host can organize PvP duels of any size. Keep in mind that the area is rather small.

To the right of you are the beaches, where you will find a hidden cave (The Overlook) with a few hooks available for decorating and a cute turtle called Speedy roaming the beach all alone. The cave requires an additional unlock and also grants you access to a 3-bedroom apartment at the top of the cave, accessible via an interior elevator. The turtle is there just for fun.
At first, during the testing stages and on PTS, The Overlook used to be an easter egg – a small hidden cave. Based on player demands and feedback, the developers decided to turn it into an unlockable zone and added an elevator next to the cave that leads to the 3-bedroom apartment.

After the PvP Arena you have to unlock the Cove. First you go through the Staging Room and exit into the open space behind it. From here you now have the freedom to roam around and unlock a few additional smaller rooms on the sides – Sun Room, is on your left hand side and the Hillside Room is on your right.
Carrier
To access the Carrier, you can take the taxi transport located right in the back of the landing area. Here are six more additional rooms that can be unlocked. The Reactor Room is down to the south (as you look it on the map). On the right hand side is the training room with a small vendor droid and a terminal that allows you to spawn any of the three training dummies – Operations, PvP and Healing.

Up north are three small rooms – Starboard on the right, Port Quarters on the left, Captain’s Quarters next and the Bridge is the large room in the northern section.
The Reactor room is almost an identical copy of the Torque boss fight room, while the Bridge is a mirror of the Coratanni boss encounter from the Ravagers Operation.
From the terminal in the corridor you can unlock the Sky Deck.
Sky Deck
The Sky Deck is the top of the Stronghold. Here you can organize Death Match tournaments or Huttball games. The are allows for a lot of decorations to be placed. They can serve as a line of sight obstacles.

This is one giant open area. In the middle is where a Huttball would spawn if you choose the Huttball match.

To pick which type of game you want to host, simply go to one of the terminals and click the desired type of match. Each player can pick their team from the purple and orange terminals down in the arena.

There is a speeder mount on the Sky Deck that will allow you to take a quick aerial look over the top of the Carrier. It has a visual presentation purpose. It’s not a gameplay mechanic of any kind.
There are new layouts available in the Decoration Mode, which will allow you to place some specific PvP elements. For example, you can place a massive staircase in the same style like the one in the Original Huttball to spice things up in the PvP area on the Sky Deck.
The PvP Arena on the Sky Deck has a new unique layouts for Arena hooks: Arena, Large/Medium Breakdown and Star Ships

Two special terminals right at the entrance of the Sky Deckallow you to spawn a remote control camera droid and observe the action in the Huttball arena or get a Bolster buff for your character if you wish to level the field for every participant in the match.

Clicking on one of the giant anti-aircraft guns on the sides of the Sky Deck, will teleport you back to the landing platform of the Stronghold (the Hideout section).

New Cinematics and Decorations
For the new decorations released with 5.9.2, Bioware also provided a new tier of MK-4 Prefab craftable items. These are quite expensive and are used to purchase the new decos from the Fleet droid vendor.
New MK-4 Prefab Schematics
New Crafting schematics are now available at your Crew Skills Vendors on the Fleet. Each one of the MK-4s costs 20 000 Credits to learn. They are used to purchase the new Decorations available on the Fleet Vendors.

Here is my video overview of the new Stronghold Decorations available from the Fleet Vendors.
