Notable Dynamic Encounters
These Dynamic Encounters are either a bit tricker than average or offer some sort of unique reward. Bolded entries are not necessarily on this list.
Taking Advantage
The Swamp Snarlers in the encounter “Taking Advantage” have a good chance of dropping the Poison Pit Sign deco.
Jiguuna Cleanup
I recommend staying away from “Jiguuna Cleanup” once you have the achievement for doing it once. The droid you pilot doesn’t deal very much damage, so it takes longer than it should to do.
Achievements
Despite existing on planets, Dynamic Encounter achievements are listed under their own category rather than as a new subcategory on each planet in the Location section. On each planet, you get an achievement for doing the following:
- Completing each Dynamic Encounter for the first time
- Completing all Dynamic Encounters in each region
- Completing all Dynamic Encounters across the planet
- Completing number 5 â–¶ 15 â–¶ 30 Dynamic Encounters on a given planet
Once you get all of these achievements on a given planet, you get the meta-achievement that comes with a mount that can carry a minipet of your choosing.
Many Dynamic Encounters also have individual achievements associated with them, some of which are hidden. Below, we have tips on how to complete each encounter-specific achievement and reworded their objectives so you know what you have to do.
Hutta features 2 encounter-specific achievements.
Achievement Name | Requirement | Region |
---|---|---|
Rancor Enrager | Feed the Escaped Rancor in “Escaped Rancor” | Fa’athra’s Palace |
Warning: Toxic! | Get sprayed by noxious chemicals in “Reverse Ecology” | Evocii Work Camp |
Rancor Enrager
You have to feed the Escaped Rancor some food from one of the plasteel tech barrels to the left of the enemy next to a strong Nikto enemy named Ortoggan the Mercenary. Clicking on one of them will put a temporary ability on your bar and using the ability on the Escaped Rancor enrages it.
Warning: Toxic!
One of the objectives in the encounter “Reverse Ecology” is to douse 5 Chemilizards with noxious chemicals, which is done with a temporary ability. You can also use this ability on other players, and getting sprayed by someone else gives you the achievement. Ask a friend to spray you and spray anyone else you see while doing the encounter.
Unique Rewards
There are 2 rewards that you can only get for completing Dynamic Encounters on Hutta.
Zelthian Bog Cutter (Mount)
You receive the Zelthian Bog Cutter for completing Encounter Mastery: Hutta, which you receive after completing each unique Dynamic Encounter and 30 total Dynamic Encounters on Hutta.
Zelthian is a new speeder manufacturer introduced with the Dynamic Encounters on starter planets. The speeder features a carriage for
Poison Pit Sign (Deco)
Some enemies have a chance to drop the Poison Pit Sign, a Signs – Holograms deco that fits on Wall Small and Wall Medium Hooks. The deco is a uselessly tiny version of the holosign hanging over the cantina where the Imperial tech origin stories begin.
I contemplated adding a red circle to show you where it is in the picture, but I think the struggle better illustrates my point.
