SWTOR Coruscant Dynamic Encounters and All Achievements Guide

Endonae by Endonae|

We’ve got lists of all Coruscant Dynamic Encounters and rewards and tips for how to get every single Coruscant Dynamic Encounter achievement.

What are Dynamic Encounters?

Dynamic Encounters are short planetary mission in SWTOR that you can stumble upon while you’re out questing. Everyone can see all currently available Dynamic Encounters on all maps, and anyone can complete them, though they’re only available for a set time. As old events expire, new ones become available.

Progress Sharing Explained

The vast majority of Dynamic Encounters have Group Shared progression. If you’re in a group doing that Encounter together, progress is shared within the group. Otherwise, it’s an individual mission.

Encounter Shared means that progress is shared across everyone in the vicinity of the Dynamic Encounter. These are less common and have multiple stages.

Objective Types

Each Dynamic Encounter falls into 1 of 5 categories in terms of what type of gameplay objectives you’ll need to satisfy to complete said encounter: Combat, Clicking, Hybrid, Champion, Battle. Those are not official terms, but they are mostly recognized through dileniations in the achievements.

Notable Dynamic Encounters on Coruscant

These Dynamic Encounters are either a bit tricker than average or offer some sort of unique reward. Bolded entries are not necessarily on this list.

Ugnaught Engineering

The Uggernaught encounter is tedious and time-consuming. It’s a bit complicated how you progress it. The encounter has 2 phases.

The first phase objective is to defend the Ugnaughts while they build their droid (The Uggernaught). You’ll see progress go up if the lil’ piggies don’t have to spend time shooting.

The second phase is about the droid going out on patrol, where it has to kill 25 enemies. If you protected the Ugnaughts during phase 1 while they build the droid, you’ll get a buff on your bar called Assisting Destruction, which you need for phase 2.

You get credit towards the 25 kills if you have the buff and the droid is in combat with whatever you’re in combat. It does not matter if you kill it or the droid does, just that you have the buff and both you and the droid are in combat with the same enemies.

Do not clear a path for the droid. If you have the buff, aggro enemies and bring them over. You can kill them once The Uggernaught notices them. Once everyone with the Assisting Destruction buff completes the encounter or leaves the vicinity, the droid self-destructs.

You can also get a decoration of The Uggernaught if you’re near it when it kills something. These decos are deposited automatically into your inventory.

They’re Listening!

There’s a conspiracy theorist at the Senate Tower who thinks “They’re Listening!” and wants you to look for recording devices in the bushes and harrass Security Guards and Gardeners to find proof.

If, by some miracle, you do find proof, you get an achievement called “Right All Along” that comes with one of the best decos from this batch of encounters (and IMO in general), the Conspiracy Console.

Vandals at the Gate

Vandals at the Gate takes place inside the Senate Tower where some droids have been hacked to spray Black Sun grafitti all over the place. Interact with the holoprojector console on the wall to either reset the system or enable you to control a Senate Security droid to spray some grafitti of your own.

Strangely, there are no achievements associated with “Vandals at the Gate”, but it’s still an excellent RP opportunity.

Coruscant Dynamic Encounter Achievements

Despite existing on planets, Dynamic Encounter achievements are listed under their own category rather than as a new subcategory on each planet in the Location section. On each planet, you get an achievement for doing the following:

  • Completing each Dynamic Encounter for the first time
  • Completing all Dynamic Encounters in each region
  • Completing all Dynamic Encounters across the planet
  • Completing number 10 ▶ 25 ▶ 50 ▶ 75 Dynamic Encounters on a given planet

Once you get all of these achievements on a given planet, you get the meta-achievement that comes with a mount that can carry a minipet of your choosing.

Many Dynamic Encounters also have individual achievements associated with them, some of which are hidden. Below, we have tips on how to complete each encounter-specific achievement and reworded their objectives so you know what you have to do.

Coruscant features 6 encounter-specific achievements.

Unusual Cargo

Unusual Cargo is a time-sensitive achievement that spans multiple encounters. You need to collect all 3 timelock keys by defeating Black Suns Bosses Daro Desyk, Nej Shif, and Finis Pellian.

The timelock keys remain usable for 90 mins, so you need to complete all 3 champion encounters in Black Sun Territory before any of them run out of time. You also can’t die, log out, or enter a loading screen or you have to start over.

Once you have all 3 keys in your possession, head to the second floor of the Silent Sun Cantina, also in Black Sun Territory, and use the keys to open the Smuggling Compartment there.

Once you open it, you get the achievement and that’s it! Use the time you’ll have to spend waiting around to work on all the excessive number of achievements that require you to do the same action 50+ times.

Cleaning Up Coruscant

Cleaning Up Coruscant requires you to clean up 100 pieces of Black Sun grafitti during the encounter “Blot Out the Sun”, requiring you to do the encounter multiple times. Unfortunately, the Black Sun grafitti at the Senate Tower during the encounter “Vandals at the Gate” does not count.

Mass Destruction

Mass Destruction requires you to destroy 50 pieces of Guild Missiles and Tech Weaponry during the encounter “Crippling the Guild”, requiring you to do the encounter multiple times.

Cry Havoc!

Cry Havoc! requires you to destroy 500 things with the forklift during the encounter “Unlevel Loading” in Justicar Territory. Somehow, the devs missed an incredible opportunity to have this achievement grant the Legacy Title: Forklift Certified.

Consummate Professional

Consummate Professional requires you to complete the encounter “Understaffed” without making any mistakes, similar to the Cantina Rush minigame during the Feast of Prosperity Event.

Prioritize taking orders and bringing drinks to customers with red and yellow arrows over their heads and don’t forget to clean up the cups when they’re done!

Right All Along

You get the achievement “Right All Along” for finding an actual listening device during the encounter “They’re Listening!”, which will also unlock the Conspiracy Console deco. Your chances of finding a listening device are tiny and random, so park as many toons at the Senate Tower as you can.

All Coruscant Dynamic Encounter Unique Rewards

There are 7 rewards that you can only get for completing Dynamic Encounters on Coruscant.

Coruscant Leisure Cruiser (Mount)

You receive the Coruscant Leisure Cruiser for completing Encounter Mastery: Coruscant, which you receive after completing each unique Dynamic Encounter and 75 total Dynamic Encounters on Coruscant.

The speeder features a carriage for your active ground-based pet.

Conspiracy Console (Deco)

You unlock the Conspiracy Console, a Technological – Monitors deco that fits on Medium and Large wall hooks, when you complete the achievement “Right All Along”, which is associated with the encounter “They’re Listening!”.

Empty Fireworks Launcher (Deco)

You can get an Empty Fireworks Launcher, a Technological – Machines deco that fits on Small hooks, deposited directly into your inventory whenever you set off a firework in the Senate Plaza during the encounter “Senatorial Celebration”.

Shipping Cargo (Neutral) (Deco)

You can get Shipping Cargo (Neutral), a Containers – Crates deco that fits on Centerpiece hooks, deposited directly into your inventory whenever you crash into stuff during the encounter “Unlevel Loading”.

Shipping Cargo (Imperial) (Deco)

You can get Shipping Cargo (Imperial), a Containers – Crates deco that fits on Centerpiece hooks. I haven’t gotten this one yet myself, but according to other sources, you can get this deco deposited directly into your inventory whenever you crash into stuff during the encounter “Unlevel Loading”, just like with the Neutral version.

Shipping Crane (Deco)

You have a chance to get a Shipping Crane, a Technological – Vehicles deco that fits on Starship hooks, from the “Crane and Punishment” encounter. I can’t recall whether I got it as loot or from clicking on one of the cranes.

The Uggernaught (Deco)

You have a chance to get a different-colored version of The Uggernaught, a Technological – Vehicles deco (not Personnel – Droids?) that fits on Medium and Narrow hooks, whenever The Uggernaught droid defeats an enemy and you’re nearby.
