There are 3 legendary horses in Crimson Desert, all of which are much better than regular horses, and 2 of them are easily accessible in the early game. We’ll show you how they compare and where you can get them!
Why Legendary Horses Are Special
Legendary horses have way better stats and more skills compared to regular horses, though they are harder to tame and it seems they take longer to build Trust.
All legendary horses have access to the additional skills Charge, Boost, Lateral Movement, and Water Sprint. The former 3 are the unique skills for Numont, Britano, and Elantrima, respectively.

| Lateral Movement | X | X | X | ||
| Water Sprint | X | X | X | ||
Below, you can see that their stat pools are roughly 25-50% higher, depending on the breed, with only a small bit of overlap between the lowest stats on the legendaries and the highest stats on the regulars.
| Stat at Level 5 | Herspia | Rokade | Royler | Camora | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Health | 470 | 840 | 590 | 690 | |
| Stamina | 255 | 315 | 390 | 315 | |
| Attack | 21 | 26 | 23 | 33 | |
| Defense | 47 | 85 | 70 | 120 | |
| Movement Speed | 3 | 4 | 5 | 4 | |
| Acceleration | 3 | 4 | 5 | 5 | |
| Handling | 3 | 5 | 4 | 4 | |
| Jump Power | 3 | 5 | 3 | 4 | |
It’s very difficult to tame one of these horses without high stamina, so we recommend using a Faded Abyss Relic to respec, get as much stamina as you can, and refill your stamina with something like Honey Tea or down Astrid’s Elixir right before hopping on.
You can see the full comparison between regular horse breeds and the Legendary Horses in our main Horse Guide.
Everything You Need to Know About Horses in Crimson DesertHow to get Rokade
Rokade is jet black and built for maneuverability, with the highest handling, jump power, and health out of any horse in the game. Its stats make it look like a cross between a Priden and an Elantrima, though it lacks the former’s unique High Jump skill.

You can find Rokade roaming around what seems to be a tar pit on the Steel Mountains in the southeastern corner of Hernand, between the Ruined Chapel and the Spire of Insight.

How to get Royler
Royler is the fastest horse in the game, boasting maximum Movement Speed and Acceleration. It’s white with gold legs and has a similar skillset and stat distribution to Britanos.

While the Britano has pronounced weaknesses in terms of survivability, jump power, and handling, the fact that legendary horses have higher stat pools means Royler is still as good or better than most of the regular breeds in these areas.
You can find Royler drinking from a secluded watering hole in the mountains of Pailune, north of the Ancient Rift and east of Steinnfell Fortress.

That pond is also the home of the Golden Carp, one of the 5 Legendary Fish.
How to get Camora
Camora is the ultimate war horse, featuring the highest attack, defense, and acceleration out of any steed. It has the stat distribution of a superior Numont without any of the drawbacks and the long hair that’s characteristic of a Priden.
You can find Camora west of the Red River in the Crimson Desert, close to where its borders converge with those of Demeniss and Delesyia.
Please use better tack for these stallions than the cheapo saddle and stirrups they’re pictured with.
