This guide will show you what the Dark Ringleader’s set (Walter Lanford’s outfit) looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!
Appearance
The Dark Ringleader’s set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features a whole lotta snazzy floppy bits all over the place. The default colors for this glorious ensemble are red, white, green, and gold.

Stats
The Dark Ringleader’s set consists of 9 fully upgradeable pieces. The armor set is wearable solely by Kliff, but there is a Shotgun that only Damiane can wield.
This set features a combination of Cloth and Leather Pieces, offering below average Defense in exchange for additional Movement Speed, along with foundational Ice and Lightning Resistance you’d have to complete with Frostward and Shockward.

Acquisition
You can obtain the Dark Ringleader set from Fort Warspike and 5 separate waterfall caves spread across Hernand.
Dark Ringleader Helmet Location
You can obtain the Dark Ringleader Helmet from Shadowheart Grotto, a waterfall cave north of The Witchwood in western Hernand.

Dark Ringleader Armor Location
You can obtain the Dark Ringleader Cloth Armor from the Blade Cave, a waterfall cave south of Fort Warspike and north of The Witchwoods on the western side of Hernand.

Dark Ringleader Cloak Location
You can obtain the Dark Ringleader Cloak from Echoing Tunnel, a waterfall cave northeast of Fort Perwin and south of The Witchwoods in western Hernand.

Dark Ringleader Gloves Location
You can obtain the Dark Ringleader Leather Gloves from Cloudmist Cave, a waterfall cave northeast from The Witchwoods in central Hernand.

Dark Ringleader Boots Location
There are no named Dark Ringleader Boots, but Walter Lanford, the guy who wears the full set uses the Rhonda Leather Boots and drops them when you defeat him at Fort Warspike during the quest “The Nemesis’ Demise” in Hernand.

In the meantime, the Tesslit Leather Boots are easy to come by and have an identical appearance.
Dane’s Shotgun
You receive the Dane’s Shotgun for defeating Walter Lanford at Fort Warspike during the House Serkis Faction Quest “The Nemesis’ Demise”.
This is the final quest for House Serkis, so you must complete the rest before you can do this one. You must also rescue Vellua from its pirate invasion before Alan Serkis will tell you about this one.

Warspike Weapons
You can purchase the Warspike Bow and Spear from the Equipment Shop at Fort Warspike in western Hernand along the Nas River, north of The Witchwoods. This vendor also sells the Scarlet Blades armor.

Of course, you’ll find both weapons drop a lot from enemy soldiers, so it’s not worth purchasing them outright. The benefit of using such common gear despite it looking a little bland is that you can save on upgrade costs if you have duplicates (which you will).
Warspike Shields
You can learn to craft both the Thorny Warspike Large Shield, and its alternative the Reinforced Warspike Large Shield, with Shields of the World, Vol. III, which is obtainable from the main room on the top floor of the residential part of Calphade Castle in Hernand.

The way up is very easy to miss and right next to the door to the room where you fight Cassius Morten at the end of Chapter VI: Cracks in the Shield.
