This guide will show you what the Shadowleaf set looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!
Appearance
The Shadowleaf set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features wooden planks tied together with twine and covered with a cloak made of leaves and topped with decorative pinecones.

The shield does not share the name of the rest of the set, but it’s just a giant chunk of tree bark that fits so perfectly you can’t not wear it with the set.
Stats
The Shadowleaf set consists of 7 mostly non-upgradeable pieces and is wearable by Kliff only. This set is a Disguise, so it is not upgradeable, offers almost no Defense, and does not feature any Abyss Gear Sockets. It is meant to help you avoid combat entirely, rather than reduce the damage you take.
The Wildlife Disguise causes animals to ignore you, making them easier to hunt. You can also walk right up to little birds and grab them to add to your Knowledge.

Acquisition
You can obtain the Shadowleaf set from 4 locations across Hernand and Pailune.
Shadowleaf Armor Set Location
You can learn how to craft the entire Shadowleaf Armor Set with a Blacksmith after completing the Natural Harmony Research, the very first project at the Pororin Research Institute.

Giant’s Boots
While they don’t share the name or the Wildlife Disguise, the Giant’s Boots do match the vibe and aesthetic for the Shadowleaf Set. You can find them in a treasure chest giant walking tree’s head/house lumbering around between Longleaf Villages.

The Skill happens automatically and makes a distractingly loud sound, so I’m not a big fan of using them.
Shadowleaf Bow Location
You receive the Shadowleaf Bow after defeating Moren, the Mistwood Huntmaster, and informing the denizens of Longleaf Forest in Pailune about his defeat. You’ll have to earn their trust by turning their lights back on in all three treehouses.

You can also learn how to craft it with Ranged Weapons of the World – Bows, Vol. IV, but that isn’t obtainable until you reach Delesyia.
Moren, the Mistwood Huntmaster is weating most items from this exact set (minus the shield and cloak), but you cannot loot all parts after defeating this boss.
Lifsoth Large Shield Location
You can loot the Lifsoth Large Shield from a treasure chest in the tower at the Witch’s House in The Witchwoods of Hernand.

You can also craft it with Shields of the World, Vol. III, which you can steal from the top floor of Calphade Castle near the border between Hernand and Pailune.

Sword of the Wayward Woods Location
The Sword of the Wayward Woods has a chance to drop from Mistwood Hunters, primarily found in the Wayward Woods of western Pailune. Mistwood Hunters wear the Shadowleaf Armor as well, but the set can’t drop from them.

The entire valley between the mountain ranges in Pailune is part of the Wayward Woods. We recommend turning off Ray Tracing in this area for improved visibility.
Other weapons that fit well with this set include:
- Savage Woodland Spirit Killer
- The Grove’s Thorn
- Acorn Mace
- Ring of the Earth
- Beehive Club
Most of them can also drop in or around the Wayward Woods.
