This guide will show you what the Baltheon Plate Armor set looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!
Appearance
The Baltheon set was introduced in Crimson Desert Update 1.04.00. It is available to all players and features a shiny and smooth silver plate armor for the most noblest of knights… like Kliff.

This is one of the armor sets that was previously unusable by players and designated as “sellable only” as it was always marked as “broken” when you loot its pieces from random NPCs you defeat. As of Update 1.04.00, it is available as a regular armor set.
Stats
The Baltheon set consists of 3 fully upgradeable pieces and is wearable by Kliff only. As Plate Armor, it features high Defense raw unarmed Attack Power but no other bells and whistles.
The set only consists of Helm, Chestpiece and Gloves. In the next segment, we have recommendations for the empty slots that fit perfectly both lore-wise and visually.

Acquisition
You can obtain all parts of the Baltheon plate armor from the Equipment Shop in City of Hernand. Rhett has this set available for you to purchase for Silver.
- Baltheon Plate Helm costs 2.64 Silver
- Baltheon Plate Armor costs 22.89 Silver
- Baltheon Plate Gloves costs 8.38 Silver

There is an additional requirement: you need to obtain the Hernandian Crown first. This is a reputation item you can purchase from the Contribution Shop at Hernand Castle and costs 70 Tokens. You can earn these Reputation Tokens by completing side quests in Hernand.

After you purchase the armor set, you can return the Crown to the Contribution Shop to restore your Tokens. It will not prevent you from equipping and using the armor set. You can buy and return the Hernandian Crown multiple times. The same applies for all other Contribution Shop items in the entire game
If you don’t have the Crown in your inventory when you attempt to purchase this armor set, you will see a red text warning you that it is “only sold to those who hold prestige”

The Baltheon Plate Helm is the old Rekhia Plate Helm, but the devs changed its name to better indicate that it is intended to be used with the other items from the Baltheon Armor.
Since the Baltheon Armor only has three pieces, you can select whatever else you want from Rhett’s or any other shop, craft something yourself or obtain through quest. Any weapon and heavy large shield that are not too fancy or futuristic, would match the classic knight fantasy the Baltheon Plate Armor inspires.
The Canta Plate Boots are a perfect fit , so would be any most of the Contribution Shop’s cloaks. Great alternatives that you can obtain a bit later in the game, are the Frozen Heart Plate Cloak and the Demeniss Royal Guard Shield.
With custom Dyes, you can tweak almost any shield and cloak to match your outfit. In the screenshots above, I am displaying a custom-dye job done to the Staglord’s Shield.
