History and Lore
Kliff is part of the Greymanes, a faction hailing from the region of Pailune. The Greymanes are committed to keeping the peace and unity of their homeland, striving to protect the innocents of their region.
Due to the untimely death of the leader of the Greymanes, Jian, peace has swiftly turned to chaos and war. Now, the Greymanes are fighting fierce battles to uphold Jian’s will and maintain the peace against a new foe.
Known as the Black Bears, they seek to destroy any attempts at peace and do not share the vision once held by Jian for Pailune. Kliff seeks out what remains of the Greymanes, in hopes of reuniting his homelands once more.
Class Specification and Skill Tree
Kliff has access to the most weapons and equipment in the game. He is the most universal and balanced our of the three playable characters. He has the most complete knowledge, experience, and skills to deal with all sorts of puzzles and challenges.
In series of patches post-launch the developers of Pearl Abyss have been adding and expanding the capabilities of Oongka and Damiane to allow them to solve most of the puzzles, but there are a handful of tricks that still remain only in Kliff’s arsenal.

Behind the Scenes
Kliff is voiced by Alec Newman in the English localization of Crimson Desert. if Kliff’s voice sounds somewhat familiar to you, it is because Alec Newman voices a plethora of beloved and famous characters from multiple video games.
To us here at VULKK, he is best known as the voice behind Cyberpunk 2077‘s Adam Smasher. He also voices Anders Hellman and Arthur Jenkins.
Alec Newman was also a part of famous franchises such as Dune, Elden Ring (Dane), Sebastian Vael (Dragon Age II) and more.
