History and Lore
Damiane is a complex and versatile character, both in her history and her playstyle. She is very adaptable, quick, agile, and lethal.
This is a headstrong, down-to-earth, fierce fighter, who might not be as physically intimidating as Oonkga, but she always stands up for what she believes.
Damiane has a noble origin, but her house and family fell when she was little. She was trained by a swordmaster who disappears at some point without a trace.
How to Unlock Damiane
You will unlock Damiane as a playable character during Chapter III of the main storyline in the game. Later in the story, at the end of Chapter VIII, there is a segment where you will be forced to play as her, regardless if you have developed her skills at all or not.

The segment where you control her is not very difficult or long, but may seem like a challenge if you have been focusing solely on Kliff until this moment, which is completely natural.
Class Specification and Skill Tree
Damiane’s skill tree allows her to adapt to any situation. She can be a great ranged shooter and a melee brawler at the same time.
In series of patches post-launch the developers of Pearl Abyss have been adding and expanding the capabilities of Oongka and Damiane to allow them to solve most of the puzzles, but there are a handful of tricks that still remain only in Kliff‘s arsenal.

Damiane has access to the following weapon types:
One-Handed Weapons
- Tools
- Daggers
- First (Unarmed)
- Rapiers
- Small Shields
Two-Handed Weapons
Behind the Scenes
In the English localization, Damiane is voiced by Rebecca Hanssen, who played Queen Meve of Lyria in The Witcher TV series and Eve in Stellar Blade.
