Fire Walk Boots
Defense: 3
Attack: 11
Movement Speed Lv 1
Fiery Wake
Press Dodge repeatedly to ignite the ground beneath your feet. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10-second cooldown.
Footwear equipped with a compact flamespitter developed by Faust. Perform consecutive evades to set the ground on fire.
Fire Walk Boots set the ground on fire whenever you Dodge, but they aren’t upgradeable, don’t have a Kuku version, and eventually break, so you’re stuck with very low stats while wearing them.
Fire Walk Boots have a chance to drop from Flame Knight enemies, which you can find most reliably at Flame Knights Castle on the border between Hernand and Demeniss, east of Anvil Hill.

The only way to get more of these when they break is to enable Re-Blockading and Liberate the castle whenever possible.
Pillager’s Leather Boots
Defense: 3
Attack: 11
Movement Speed Lv 1
Disarm
1% Chance to make enemies drop their equipment when hit by certain attacks
Unusual boots crafted from leather tailored to the shape of a foot. These shoes have a somewhat grotesque appearance, featuring individual slots for each toe. Landing an attack on an opponent while wearing them increases the chance of making them drop their valuables.
Pillager’s Leather (Toe) Boots have a built-in Disarm effect just like the Disarm I Abyss Gear, but they aren’t upgradeable, don’t have a Kuku version, and eventually break, so you’re stuck with very low stats while wearing them.
Pillager’s Leather Boots have a chance to drop from The Faceless enemies, which you can find most reliably at Fort Manub, east of Tommaso in the Tashkalp region of the Crimson Desert.

The only way to get more of these when they break is to enable Re-Blockading and Liberate the fort whenever possible, but unless you have a thing for feet, you’re better off equipping Disarm Abyss Gears to some upgradeable boots.
Giant’s Boots
Defense: 5 → 14
Attack: 15 → 26
Movement Speed Lv 1 → 2

Giant’s Step
When landing after a high fall, you unleash a shockwave around you. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
Footwear crafted from a severed piece of the Sacred Tree. Landing from a certain height generates a shockwave to attack.
Giant’s Boots give you an automatic, noisy Goomba stomp attack. They do not offer any sort of fall damage protection, but the strength of the effect does not scale with distance and occurs even from landing after jumping.
You can loot the Giant’s Boots from a treasure chest inside a giant walking tree’s head/house. The treehouse is walking around the center of the Longleaf Tribe’s lands at the northern edge of the Wayward Woods in Pailune. You’ll hear this guy before you see him.

Vaporwalker

Attack: 16 → 32

Skipping Stones
Press Crouch while running on land to Slide into water and glide across the surface. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
Boots crafted from waterproof leather with lightweight soles, designed to briefly stay afloat. They allow the wearer to quickly slide across shallow water.
The Vaporwalker(s) allow you to become a skipping stone and glide across small bodies of water, like rivers and small lakes. If your outfit can accommodate non-knee-high boots without looking weird, these upgradeable boots are fully upgradeable and a BiS contender.
You can loot the Vaporwalker from a treasure chest inside Ancient’s Heart Cave, a waterfall cave at The Ancient Rift near the border between Hernand and Pailune, east of Calphade.

Tidebreaker Boots
Defense: 5 → 14
Attack: 15 → 26
Movement Speed Lv 1 → 2

Tidebreaker
Press Dodge while swimming to burst forward a short distance. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
Boots equipped with an underwater propulsion device developed by Faust. It activates automatically upon entering the water, helping the wearer swim at high speeds.
The Tidebreaker Boots greatly improve your swim speed and are one of two pairs of boots that come with cool lights on the bottom. They are fully upgradeable and come with two Abyss Gear sockets, making them one of the top contenders for BiS footwear, though they are balanced like Cloth armor, so they have some Movement Speed at the cost of Defense.

Shoddy Rishi’s Boots
Defense: 3
Attack: 11
Movement Speed Lv 1
Rishi’s Footsteps
Press Dodge twice to slide a short distance. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
Crude boots seemingly made by lashing leather and iron plates together with twine. Perform consecutive evades to dash more quickly.
Shoddy Rishi’s Boots are non-upgradeable, destructible footwear that offer a superior Dodge similar to what the Goblin Fundamentalists do. It’s best to hold onto a pair of these so you can upgrade them into Kuku Rishi’s Boots and sell the rest.
Shoddy Rishi’s Boots have a chance to drop from Fundamentalist Goblins endemic to southern Hernand, most notably Fort Hellwood near Senia.

The only reliable way to get more of these when they break is to enable Re-Blockading and Liberate the fort whenever possible, though you can find them attacking other areas in Hernand’s southwest.
Kuku Rishi’s Boots
Defense: 1 → 18
Attack: 10 → 30
Critical Rate Lv 1 → 2
Lightning Resistance Lv 3

Rishi’s Footsteps (Kuku Edition)
Press Dodge twice to slide a short distance. This effect can be charged up to 5 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
Rishi’s Boots reinforced with an enhanced kuku pot. Much like the floating constructions of the Abyss, the soles of these boots subtly warp gravity. They allow the wearer to glide at high speeds, ignoring friction to dodge attacks and traverse the battlefield with the lightness of the wind.
Kuku Rishi’s Boots are a superior upgradeable version of the Shoddy Rishi’s Boots with a more readily available Dodge effect, Lightning Resistance Lv 3, and an Abyss Gear socket, but you’ll have to trade the Movement Speed Lv 1 for Critical Rate Lv 2.
Since the Rishi’s Footsteps effect is meant for combat, it counts as a baked in Abyss Gear, so you only get 1 socket instead of the standard 2.
You can craft the Kuku Rishi’s Boots at Kilnden Workshop in west central Hernand after receiving the Blueprint from Areciel, the Brown Witch of Strength, at the Sanctum of Revelation near Serpent Marsh between Demeniss and Delesyia.

You’ll need some Shoddy Rishi’s Boots, 5 Abyss Cells, and an Enhanced Kuku Pot to craft the Kuku Rishi’s Boots.
Kuku Breeze-Step Boots
Defense: 1 → 18
Attack: 11 → 33
Lightning Resistance Lv 3

Breeze Step
Enables a superior Double Jump. This effect can be charged up to 3 times, with each charge having a 10 second cooldown.
An enhanced kuku pot fashioned into boots. Utilizing the Core of Faith, it momentarily creates gravity-defying platforms beneath the wearer’s feet. This allows for leaps to seemingly impossible heights, appearing to others as if you are stepping on thin air. It enables an even higher ascent when performing a Double Jump.
The Kuku Breeze-Step Boots light up just like the Tidebreaker Boots and trade an Abyss Gear socket for a baked in Double Jump effect that lets you go higher than you can with the Double Jump Skill you can observe in Pororin.
These boots also offer Lightning Resistance Lv 3, which is pretty nice alongside a set of Leather Armor. You’re basically getting a free Abyss Gear socket since you already get the Double Jump effect and the equivalent of a Shockward III.
You can craft the Kuku Breeze-Step Boots at Kilnden Workshop in west central Hernand after receiving the Blueprint from Lyselia, the Green Witch of Humility, at the Sanctum of Oblation on the big island off the east coast of Delesyia.

There is no baseline destructible version of this footwear, so all you need to craft them are 3 Electrical Components, a Core of Faith, and an Enhanced Kuku Pot.
Stirrups of the Open Sky
Defense: 3 → 16
Attack: 11 → 28
Movement Speed Lv 1 → 2

Increase Grip
Reduces the chance of slipping while Climbing
Special boots designed with maximum friction on the soles. These are essential for rock climbing and serve as a lifeline when clinging to thrashing flying creatures. When worn with pairing gloves that enhance grip, they allow the wearer to maintain a perfect stance, unbothered by even the most violent shake.
The Stirrups of the Open Sky make it easier to climb. They’re balanced like Cloth armor, offering lower defense in exchange for some extra Movement Speed. If you don’t plan on using them with your main set, consider embedding a pair of Ascent Abyss Gears.
You receive the Stirrups of the Open Sky for completing the House Celeste Faction Quest “Queen’s Nest” at Arboria Castle in the Hills of No Return in northern Hernand. While there are spider webs throughout the area, the Queen Spider nor any of her brood do not spawn here until the castle becomes blockaded.

No other enemy spiders spawn in the game.
