When Lightning Strikes I
You unlock When Lightning Strikes I after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact along the road southwest of Tommaso near the border between Demeniss and the Crimson Desert.
Challenge
Defeat 5 enemies from over 30 meters away with a gun
Tips
There’s no way to measure distance in this game, so you just have to eyeball it. If the kills aren’t counting, you need to stand further back.
When Lightning Strikes II
You unlock When Lightning Strikes II after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact across the river northwest of Drywind Valley and the chocolate factory in the jungle dividing Delesyia from the Crimson Desert.
Challenge
Defeat 3 enemies from over 5 meters away within 5 seconds with a gun
Tips
Use Focused Shot with a sufficiently upgraded gun. Mark each target with two shots to guarantee a kill.
When Lightning Strikes III
You unlock When Lightning Strikes III after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact along the road connecting Urdavah to Varnia in the Crimson Desert.
Challenge
Hit the target three times within one second with a pistol
Tips
Only Damiane can wield pistols, so you’ll need to use her to complete this challenge. Use Focused Shot to mark the target 3 times. If the enemy isn’t living past the second shot, use an un-upgraded pistol or shoot at a boss.
When Lightning Strikes IV
You unlock When Lightning Strikes IV after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact near the fork in the road outside of Tariv in northwestern Demeniss.
Challenge
Hit 7 enemies on horseback with a gun while riding a horse
Tips
You have to be on horseback and so does your target. It’s easiest to do this as by firing on civilian NPCs along main roads using an un-upgraded gun. The first shot will turn civilian NPCs into an enemy, and subsequent shots will count towards completing this challenge.
When Lightning Strikes V
You unlock When Lightning Strikes V after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact at the fork in the road between Vellua and the Ruined Chapel, southwest of Castlewood Ruins in southern Hernand.
Challenge
Defeat 3 enemies using regular shots
Defeat 3 enemies using Evasive Shot or Focused Evasive Shot
Defeat 3 enemies using aerial shots
