Crimson Desert’s Update 2.03.00 improves Water Stride, gives you Silver pouches when you start a new game, adds Precise Movement to Photo Mode, and fixes a bunch of bugs.
Update 2.03.00 Highlights
The update is currently rolling out. At the time of this publication, it is still not available on Mac App Store, but is accessible for download on Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox. Its size on Steam is ~3 GB.
Water Stride Improvements
Update 2.0 introduced 8 new skills for Kliff. Water Stride was one of the best new additions. It allows Kliff to slide on water without the need for unique boots.
In today’s patch 2.03.00, Water Stride gets an update. It now allows sliding while you have the Vaporwalker equipped. On top of that, you can now jump while in the middle of a Water Stride.

Previously, jumping during Water Stride was not possible and Kliff would just drop in the water. It always felt like an oversight or an unfinished idea and now, in this patch, we see that the devs fixed it.
NG+ gives you 1,000+ in Silver Pouches
A type of New Game + was introduced to Crimson Desert with the release of the big 2.0 update some three weeks ago. It allows you to transfer all your currencies (including Abyss Artifacts) over to a new save after completing the Main Story.
Today’s patch improves on it by adding 1,000 or more silver in the form of stackable silver pouches to your new character when you start a new game from an existing save.
When you click to start a New Game from the title screen, you will see a message like this. The amount of silver and Abyss Gear depends on your progress. The game automatically calculates this in the back end.

For those of you who are 500+ hours into the game and are ultra-rich on their first and main save with a ton of gold and bonds invested in the bank, let me remind you that 1,000 Silver in the beginning of the game is shockingly large amount and will allow you to get a much smoother start.
Precise Movement in Photo Mode
A new key modifier was added in 2.03.00 allowing you to slow down the movement of the camera. Holding this key (Shift on Keyboard) and then shifting the camera around, will happen much slower… more precise.
The control is not mentioned in the Controls list in the game’s menu. You will see its prompt appear in the bottom right corner when you activate Photo Mode.

It continuously makes a clicking sound for me while I hold down the Shift, so I am not sure if this is a bug. It doesn’t work if I am not holding down the button.
