How to Unlock and Complete All Witch Quests in Crimson Desert and All Rewards from them

This guide will tell you how to unlock all six witches, complete their respective Faction Quests, cleanse all 15 Sanctums, and what rewards you get from all this.

How to unlock all Witches

There’s a total of six witches that you need to find in order to complete their related Faction Quests in Crimson Desert:

• Sylvia
• Elowen
• Bari
• Lyselia
• Areciel
• White Crow

They are spread all over the map and can be unlocked after meeting specific requirements. Most of their quests involve cleansing Sanctums.

Sylvia, the Novice Witch

Sylvia, the Novice Witch, doesn’t give any quests. She can only help with embedding or removing abyss gears from your gear. Her value lies in the fact that you can find her very early in the game. Make sure to grab the Palmar Pill that is on one of her tables.

You can find her in a cave close to the Three Saints Falls in Hernand. There’s an Abyss Nexus near the cave’s entrance.

Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom

First, you must complete the main quest, The Missing Seal. Then, find a woman named Tanya, located in a small house on the Witchwoods.

Once Tanya is free, you will be allowed to meet Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom. You can find her in a small house, also in the Witchtwoods.

Elowen’s request is for you to cleanse four Sanctums. Once you do this, return to her to complete the questline and receive her Witch Token.

Sanctums:

1. Sanctum of Temperance
2. Sanctum of Penitence
3. Sanctum of Benediction
4. Sanctum of Absolution (boss fight)

Bari, the Witch of Kindness

To find Bari, you must go southeast of the Wayward Woods to find a shivering person and initiate a conversation by turning on the nearby fire. This will reveal the Witch of Kindness’ location.

Head to the middle of the lake, located south of the Silver Wolf Mountain, and talk to Bari.

Bari’s request is for you to cleanse four Sanctums. Once you do this, return to her to complete the questline and receive her Witch Token.

Sanctums:

1. Sanctum of Exaltation
2. Sanctum of Deliverance
3. Sanctum of Atonement
4. Sanctum of Solace (boss fight)

Lyselia, the Witch of Humility

To unlock this quest, you have to find and help a man hanging off a broken bridge near Beighen. A town located northwest Demeniss, very close to Pailune. Lyselia’s location will then be revealed.

You can find her in Serpent Marsh, an island in southeast Demeniss, specifically, inside a cave near the Gi Jong Temple.

Lyselia’s request is for you to cleanse four Sanctums. Once you do this, return to her to complete the questline and receive her Witch Token.

Sanctums:

1. Sanctum of Devotion
2. Sanctum of Veneration
3. Sanctum of Oblation
4. Sanctum of Faith

Areciel, the Witch of Strength

Talk to a beggar boy near the Tommaso Fork Posthouse, inside the Tashkalp Territory in the Crimson Desert. This will reveal Areciel’s location.

Areciel is located west of World’s Navel in the Urdavah region in the Crimson Desert. Her hideout is built on the edge of the canyon, near the top.

Areciel’s request is for you to cleanse the last three Sanctums. Once you do this, return to her to complete the questline and receive her Witch Token.

Sanctums:

1. Sanctum of Expiation
2. Sanctum of Renunciation
3. Sanctum of Revelation (boss fight)

White Crow

After collecting the four Witch Tokens and finding all five witches, you must go to White Crow. Her home is in a small hut, built inside a tree in the Wayward Woods.

You might have stumbled upon it earlier, but couldn’t access it no matter what you tried. This is because the four tokens are what grant you access.

Talk to White Crow to complete this questline. As a reward for completing all these quests, you can get the Icewing Plate Cloak from the nearby treasure chest, part of the Icewing Plate Armor set. Completing all Sanctums also gets you the Lightbringer achievement.

Defeating the Antumbra Order unlocks Ator

It’s important to point out that defeating the three Antumbra bosses from the Sanctums unlocks a boss fight. Ator, Archon of Antumbra, is now waiting for you at the Cloister of Ruination.

Make sure to be fully prepared whenever you decide to face him. He is one of the three strongest bosses in the entire game, alongside The Forgotten General and Beloth, the Darksworn.

Rewards from the Witches and Sanctums

After completing these faction quests, you will end up with a ton of different rewards. The following table lists all the rewards you can get, how you get them, and the uses you can give to them.
