With update 1.08.00 to Crimson Desert, Pearl Abyss added a new Special Pet, a Baby Wyvern. You have to collect its egg, then hatch it to make it your own.
Where to find the Wyvern Egg
You can find a Wyvern Egg inside the cave with the treasure chest containing the Helm from the Skyblazer Armor Set. The cave is located in southwestern Delasyia.

Go to the Wyvern’s Cradle, located northwest of Fort Windridge. To reveal the cave’s entrance, use Focused Force Palm. Aim at the Abyss Gear inside the stone and when the screen flashes yellow, release the button.

When you enter the cave, look for a large white egg to the right from the treasure chest.

How to Hatch the Wyvern Egg
Pick up the Egg and carry it to the nearby Wyvern Nest. The nest is marked on your minimap and is located a few meters to the southwest from the cave.

Drop the Wyvern Egg in the middle of the nest and wait for the Hatch button to become available. It may take a little bit of time.

A short animation will play out of the egg growing bigger and blowing up, then the Baby Wyvern will be born. There is no taming or adopting process. This baby is yours to keep from the moment it hatches.
There is a Challenge requiring you to tame 30 unique pets. It’s called “Little Companions” and is located under Life → White Crow’s Gaze Hunting. Any pets count towards this challenge, not just Special (Legendary) ones.

What the Baby Wyvern Pet can do for you
Besides looking cute and awesome, the Baby Wyvern will fly around you and loot stuff from bodies you leave behind on the ground during and after combat.

This pet doesn’t seem to want to land on your hand or shoulder. It keeps hovering around and over your head.

It is quite fast and precise with the looting. So, move over, Iron Eagle, I have a new favorite Pet in Crimson Desert!
Future plans for the Baby Wyvern
Inside the Patch Notes for Update 1.08.00. Pearl Abyss noted that in a future update, they will allow us to make the Wyvern into a mount after it has grown up.
“Baby Wyverns” will be able to grow and be registered as mounts in a future update, so stay tuned.
Pearl Abyss
The area around Three Brothers’ Cliff is full of Wyvern Nests, but all of them are abandoned and the eggs are broken. There appears to be a whole egg in each deserted nest, but this could just be a part of an egg shell. You cannot interact with any of them. The only interactable whole Wyvern Egg I found so far, is the one in the cave.
Pearl Abyss worded it in plural form – “Baby Wyverns” – this probably means that there are or will be more eggs you can find.
When this feature becomes available, we will update this guide to explain how you can do it and what happens after you transform it.
