Learn how to complete the Pororin Forest Guardians Faction Quest “Children of the Woods” in Crimson Desert and what reward you get for doing so.
How to start the quest
You can begin the Children of the Woods quest by talking to Polan, the Shai chief, located in the Pororin Village in Hernand.
You must have access to the Pororin Village before starting this quest. He will send you to find four naughty Shai who went to explore on their own.
Find Ara, the first Shai
The first Shai is located in Mystic Falls, next to the Ancient Rift Maze, near the border between Hernand and Pailune. This area has different access points and areas.
Look for the wall covered in leaves on the north side of this area and find a small gap in the floor.
Down there, you will find Ara, the first missing Shai. All you have to do is talk to her, and she will return home. This also applies to the other missing Shai.
Find Balan, the second Shai
Balan is located in the Redtree Forest, a small but unique location west of the Red River, in Delesyia. All you have to do is find the massive tree with red leaves.
Balan is next to the tree, contemplating this beautiful place. This is the location where you can find Camora, one of the Legandary Horses in Crimson Desert.
Find Alder, the third Shai
Finding Alder is a bit trickier if this is your first time in this area. He is located under a stone structure in the middle of the Three Brothers’ Cliff Wyvern Nest.
What makes this a bit complicated is the fact that this zone is next to Fort Windridge, a fortress occupied by the Wyvernflames.
While in this area, you should find the hidden cave and obtain the Helm from the Skyblazer Set as well as the Wyvern egg that you can hatch to get the Wyvern Baby Pet.
Find Florian, the fourth Shai
Florian is in the Smoking Lands Maze, northeast of the Deadfire Mountain Demeniss. Find the gap on the ground that is close to the poisonous plants and head down.
There’s a small gap that is easily missed if you are walking around quickly without paying much attention. You should see this as soon as you come down.
Florian, the fourth and last missing Shai is waiting inside. All you have to do now is return to Polan.
Rewards
All you have to do now is return to Polan. He will give you the Pororin Petal Hat, one of the many Items with Unique Effects in Crimson Desert.
This one in particular makes your Blinding Flash and Lantern reveal nearby gatherable herbs and fruits while equipped.
