This guide will tell you how to find and obtain the Legendary Phoenix Pet introduced in update 1.04.00 of Crimson Desert.
Where to find the Phoenix
You can find the Phoenix southwest of the Trader’s Expanse, in Varnia. The Phoenix is always flying, and its route covers a considerable amount of territory. If you don’t know where to start, look for the small oasis.
The Phoenix’s route isn’t fixed, but it always passes through the center of the oasis every 7:30 minutes approximately. I recommend that you stand on top of either of the big rocks in order to get better visibility.
How to kill the Phoenix
There are many birds in this area, but the Phoenix has a distinctive bright orange color that is more evident when its wings are down. It is also surrounded by smaller birds that stick around until you start attacking.
Getting in range is quite the task, so you must make sure that every shot counts. Combining explosive arrows, Focused Shot, and Charged Shot is the best way to take it down. I also tried this combo with Poison and regular arrows, but none of those were reliable.
Once the Phoenix is down, all you have to do is skin it and go visit any witch.
How to unlock the Phoenix pet
Select “Craft Abyss Gear”, go to special items, and select the Sigil of Solidarity (Phoenix) in exchange for the Phoenix Feather.
The last step is going to your inventory, finding the Sigil of Solidarity (Phoenix), and selecting “Use”.
The Phoenix should now appear in your Pets list.
You can now have your own Phoenix following you around, even when riding a mount.
