How to get the Tariv Cloth Armor (Wizard Robes) in Crimson Desert: Overview and Stats

Endonae by Endonae|

This guide will show you what the Tariv Cloth set looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!

Appearance

The Tariv Cloth set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features regal satin robes that make you look like one of the sorcerers of Tariv. You can pair it with the Pororin Petal Hat for more of a witchy vibe.

Of course, you don’t have to keep it black and gold. Dye it white and look like Gandalf or Saruman, or dye it burgundy and pair it with the Phoenix pet to look like Dumbledore.

Stats

The Tariv Cloth set consists of 4 fully upgradeable pieces and is wearable by Kliff only, though there are numerous weapons to choose from, some of which can be used by Damiane and Oongka.

As Cloth Armor, it features lower Defense in exchange for higher Movement Speed, faster Attack Speed, and a bit of Ice Resistance on the Cloak.

Acquisition

You can purchase the entire “core” Tariv Cloth set from a single location. It’s easier to buy the whole thing but learning how to craft it can be fairly lucrative. It’s super cheap to craft, only requiring a bit of Cloth and Fleece and sells for the most money.

Tariv Sorcerer Armor Set Purchase Location

You can purchase the full set of Tariv Cloth armor including the Attire, Cloak, Gloves, and Boots from the Tariv Tailor’s Shop in Tariv in northwestern Demeniss. You’ll need to reach 100 Trust before she’ll sell the entire set.

Crafting Tariv Cloth Armor

You can craft the Tariv Cloth set with Cloth Armors of the World, Vols. III and IV.

Cloth Armors of the World, Vol. III Location

You can steal Cloth Armors of the World, Vol. III, from a bookshelf on the left side of Hartford Celeste’s (upstairs from Charle’s Celeste’s chambers) at Hernand Castle.

Hartford Celeste almost never leaves his room, but he does pace around a bit. Unless you have the Great Thief’s Gloves, it’s tricky to steal anything in this room without getting caught.

Cloth Armors of the World, Vol. IV Location

You can purchase Cloth Armors of the World, Vol. IV, from the Back Alley Shop at Odeck Pier, north of Silver Wolf Mountain at the top edge of Pailune. He won’t sell it to you until you have reached 100 Trust with him.

Sorcerer’s Weapons Locations

Most of the Sorcerer’s Weapons are craftable with various One-Handed and Two-Handed Weapons of the World volumes, but you can also purchase them from a single vendor.

Sorcerer’s Weapons Equipment Shop

You can purchase the vast majority of Tariv Sorcerer weapons, including the Sorcerer’s Massage Stick, from the Equipment Shop in Tariv in northwestern Demeniss.

Sorcerer’s Staff Location

You can find the Sorcerer’s Staff at Silent Falls Hideout, a presently unmarked cave right next to Twilight Grotto on the border between Demeniss and Hernand. You’ll need to defeat the Grave Walker first and then light both torches to open the gate behind it.

Witch Hat Location

There is no Tariv Cloth Hat in the game, and the Pororin Petal Hat is the next best thing if you’re looking for a witch hat. You receive the Pororin Petal Hat for completing the quest Children of the Woods, which starts in Pororin on the southeastern edge of Hernand.

Be sure to give some Palmar Leaves to the Shai Elders. They’ll give you Refined Palmar Pills in return for reaching 100 Trust!

Tarivian Necklace Location

You can steal the Tarivian Necklace from a strongbox behind a secret passage in noble’s home in the capital city of Demeniss. Simply walk into the bookshelf and you’ll automatically begin pushing it, like what happens if you do the same IRL while holding non-orange cat.

It’s one of those pesky musical strongboxes, but thanks to this handy-dandy guide, you don’t have to figure it out!

The pattern is top left → bottom middle left → top middle → bottom middle → bottom middle left; or just press the keys in the order in the picture.

Elixir Recipes and Rare Materials

While you’re in Tariv, give some Feathers to each Tariv Sorcerer in town. Most of them will give you a recipe for a random Elixir, including the Greater Elixirs!
