This guide will show you what the Dark Marksman’s set looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!
Appearance
The Dark Marksman’s set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features a heavy hooded cloak and layered fabric and leather over plate armor. There is no helmet with this set; the mask is baked into the Cloak.

The Dark Marksman’s Plate Armor is worn by Samara, the Sandwatcher, captain of the Dusksongs.
Stats
The core Dark Marksman’s set consists of 5 fully upgradeable pieces, and despite being worn by a woman and being associated with both a Rapier and a Musket, the set is wearable solely by Kliff.
As Plate Armor, it features maximum Defense raw unarmed Attack Power. The Cloak provides a foundation for Tier I Flame Resistance that can be completed with Flameward II or higher and the helm offers Daze Immunity.

Acquisition
You can obtain the Dark Marksman’s set from separate locations around Dusksong territory near the border between Demeniss and the Crimson Desert.
Dark Marksman’s Helmet Location
There is no Dark Marksman’s Plate Helm in Crimson Desert. The mask pictured in the set is part of the Dark Marksman’s Plate Cloak. We recommend hiding your helmet when wearing this set for a consistent appearance.
Dark Marksman’s Chestpiece Location
You can loot the Dark Marksman’s Plate Armor from a chest in an exposed chamber on the south wall of Fort Musket in the northwest corner of the Crimson Desert.

Dark Marksman’s Cloak Location
You can loot the Dark Marksman’s Plate Cloak from a treasure chest in the Warrior’s Soul Cave, a waterfall cave north of Gearmelt Confectionery at the fork in the Denn River dividing Demeniss from Delesyia and the Crimson Desert.

Dark Marksman’s Gloves Location
You can loot the Dark Marksman’s Plate Gloves from a treasure chest beneath a trapdoor on the roof of the Forgotten Watchtower south of the Spire of Clockwork in eastern Demeniss.

Climb up to the top, crouch, and use Force Palm or equivalent to fall through the trapdoor as it rotates.

Dark Marksman’s Boots Location
You can loot the Dark Marksman’s Plate Boots from a treasure chest behind a trapdoor wall beneath the Forgotten Watchtower. Use Nature’s Snare while standing in front of the wall and aim at the prominent square to go through it.

The trapdoor for the boots is in the same building as the gloves for this set, but the boots are in the cellar accessible from outside the tower.

Dark Marksman’s Sword Locations
Samara, the Sandwatcher, wields a Volono Sword, which you can craft once you’ve learned the recipe from One-Handed Weapons of the World, Vol. IV, which you get for completing the Alloy Weapon Conductivity Research Project at Dewhaven Keep’s Research Institute.

Dark Marksman’s Gun Location
Samara, the Sandwatcher, wields the Gustav Musket, which you receive for defeating her at Izvatu Fortress, east of Tommaso in the Tashkalp region of the Crimson Desert.

The Gustav Musket is the only Musket in the game to feature a bayonet.
Dark Marksman’s Shield Location
There is no shield directly affiliated with Samara, the Sandwatcher, but her criminal enterprise, the Dusksongs, are Fort Musket deserters, so if you’re looking for a shield, the Musket Shield is the most authentic option.
You can craft the Musket Shield after learning the recipe from Shields of the World, Vol. III, which you can find on a bookshelf in Demeniss Castle.

The colors match okay, but the wood clashes pretty hard with the metal. You could also use a second Volono Sword since the lore mentions its twin, which is the Volono Rapier.
Dark Marksman’s Pack Location
Samara, the Sandwatcher, has a unique pack that is unobtainable and would likely be unusable by the player, however, her pack incorporates a pair of blackened Alfonso Spearheads, so you could use one of those for your two-handed weapon to mimic the effect.
You can craft Alfonso Spears once you’ve learned the recipe from Two-Handed Weapons of the World, Vol. I, which you can steal from the house with baskets full of bees and honeycomb in Skallcove in northeastern Pailune.

Since you can’t dye two-handed weapons, the Thorn of Dark Pursuit (AKA Antumbra’s Spear) is a solid alternative if you are okay with trading the exact model for a spear that has some dangling fabric and colors that match better.
