How to get Damiane’s Light of the Battlefield Armor in Crimson Desert: Overview and Stats

This guide will show you what the Light of the Battlefield set looks like, what unique benefits it provides, and how to get it in Crimson Desert!

Appearance

The Light of the Battlefield set is obtainable by all players in Crimson Desert and features intricate plate fortifying most of Damiane’s body, except for her thighs, which are only partially protected by her ballistic short skirt and coattail cape instead.

Stats

The core Light of the Battlefield set consists of 7 fully upgradeable pieces, along with a few others that match but are not officially part of the set that we’ll be going over as well. This set is wearable solely by Damiane.

Most of Damiane’s armor sets are a somewhat arbitrary mixture of Cloth, Leather, and Plate pieces, but Light of the Battlefield is your only option for a practically full Plate set from a Defense perspective.

This set features maximum Defense and raw unarmed Attack Power. The Cloak is classified as Cloth, offering foundational Ice Resistance that can be completed with a single Frostward II or III, but Cloaks don’t abide by the same Defense brackets as the material describes, rather the kind of elemental resistance offered.

The Helm does not offer Daze Immunity despite being called Plate Armor, likely owing to the fact that it’s just a little circlet rather than a proper helmet, which is the case for all of Damiane’s headgear, save for the Goldlight Plate Helm.

Acquisition

You can obtain the Light of the Battlefield set primarily from specific treasure chests across the northern half of the Crimson Desert, though some secondary pieces come from Demeniss.

Light of the Battlefield Helmet Location

You can loot the Light of the Battlefield Plate Helm from a treasure chest nestled in a small peninsula northeast of Outlaw Canyon along the road to Varnia in the Crimson Desert.

Light of the Battlefield Chestpiece Location

You can loot the Light of the Battlefield Plate Armor from a treasure chest in a storage cavern at Howlsands Camp east of Saltroad Camp off the road to Varnia in the Crimson Desert.

Light of the Battlefield Cloak Location

You can loot the Light of the Battlefield Cloth Cloak from the Sun’s Gate Cave, a waterfall cave on the west side of Varnia in the Crimson Desert.

Light of the Battlefield Gloves Location

You can loot the Light of the Battlefield Plate Gloves from a chest below the main road through Varnia in the Crimson Desert.

Light of the Battlefield Boots Location

You can loot the Light of the Battlefield Plate Boots from a treasure chest aboard the Desert Shipwreck east of the road to Varnia in the Trader’s Expanse of the Crimson Desert.

Light of the Battlefield Earrings Location

Unlike the vast majority of armor sets, there is a named Light of the Battlefield Earring you can get, but there’s only one in the whole game, so you’ll have to pick something else for the other ear.

We recommend pairing it with the Witch’s Earring because the colors match and if used alongside the Shield of Radiance or Demenissian Gold-Decorated Shield, both of which provide Movement Speed Lv 2, you’ll get a combined 6 Movement Speed that’s easy to max out with a trio of Haste III Abyss Gears.

Light of the Battlefield Earring Location

You can purchase the sole Light of the Battlefield Earring from the Provisioner’s Shop in Tariv in northwestern Demeniss.

The vendor does not show up until you complete the Tariv Sorcerers quest called “The Light of Tariv”, which originates at Furlington Farm, west of the Demenissian capital and requires you to install a special fruit in the big tree there.

Witch’s Earring Location

You can loot the Witch’s Earring from a puzzle strongbox in the main bedroom in the Southern Court of Demeniss. To open the box, press the buttons to rotate the cylinder until all sides have the picture.

Shield of Radiance Location

You can find the Shield of Radiance lying around in a ditch near the eastern edge of the map south of the Trader’s Expanse in the Crimson Desert.

It’s really more of a gaping hole than a ditch, but there’s no treasure chest down there.

Light of the Battlefield Matching Weapons

Weapons aren’t usually associated with a specific armor set, and the following share no clear lore connection to the Light of the Battlefield but match visually.

Royal Oath Location

You can find the Royal Oath resting up against a corner of the half-wall surrounding the upper sarcophagus in the Royal Tomb east of the capital city in Demeniss. You probably won’t be able to get it until you complete the Greymane Construction Mission Dispatch there.

The Sword of Starlight you get for completing the Constellation Helm quest is another exceptional alternative.

Arben Greatsword Location

You can find the Arben Greatsword resting against the wall next to some treasure at the Horseshoe Lake Burrow beneath the bramble-covered island at the Horseshoe Lake that serves as a border between Demeniss and Delesyia.

Leofric Musket Location

You receive the Leofric Musket in Delesyia for completing Chapter X: Counterattack.
