Crimson Desert 1.03.00 Patch Notes: Better Fast Travel and Appearance Updates

Siow by Siow|

Pearl Abyss has introduced updates to Fast Travel to make it more accessible, new skills, character visual options, and UI options for Crimson Desert Update 1.03.00, released April 10th, 2026.

Highlights

Highlights for Patch 1.03.00 includes fast travel updates, visual options for your weapons, and Skills for each character!

More opportunities to Fast Travel

The most significant part of this update is the ability to Fast Travel while you’re flying, falling, swimming, mounted, or climbing walls. This is a pretty great Quality of Life update on top of Patch 1.02.00’s removal of Fast Travel clunk.

Any undiscovered Abyss Nexus you encounter will now glow to make them easier to spot. These have been notoriously easy to miss unless you used Blinding Flash, so this is a good change.

New Skills for Kliff, Damiane, and Oongka

You can now acquire the Focused Aerial Roll Cliff while Damiane and Oongka gain access to Axiom Force, Nature’s Snare, and their related abilities. This should help improve the other characters navigate the world more as you’ll be able to have useful abilities such as Aerial Maneuver.

Damiane and Oongka don’t have access to the Aerial Swing upgrade to Axiom Force, though this might be a bug as Axiom Force has 3 levels for these characters.

Display Melee and Ranged Weapons

If you’re looking to reduce the visual mess that is the numerous weapons on an adventurer’s back, then you’ll be glad to know that you can now make currently selected weapons appear.

You can configure which types of weapons are visible from Settings > Language and Gameplay.

New Loading Screen Music

You might have noticed a change when you Load up a save file. That’s right, it’s new loading screen music! It’s a welcome change as the music before was getting rather old, and variety is the spice of life.

  • Using upscaling in certain environments causes flickering in shadow effects and character hair, visual noise in certain skill effects, and rough-looking screen textures.
  • Repeatedly changing NVIDIA Ray Reconstruction and DLSS options under certain conditions may cause frame drops. We plan to improve this issue in the next patch.
  • The effects of the items Golden Beer and Sage’s Eye do not apply properly.

Until the issue is resolved, we recommend installing and using the driver version immediately prior to the latest one, available on the ASUS website.

  • Attempting to steal fruit at the back of a stall results in the character becoming unresponsive to controls.
