A new buildable Boba Fett figure has been leaked, new Marvel Legends Omnibus issues, and the tenth appearance of George Lucas in a movie.
George Lucas to appear in a… Minions movie?
In a strange turn of events, George Lucas will have a role in the upcoming animated film Minions & Monsters. The story will be about our odd yellow friends trying to make it in the film industry.

While specific details about Lucas’ role are yet to be revealed, I think that he’ll be playing himself in the movie set to release on the first day of July. Probably nothing too important, just a small cameo. George Lucas loves animation, so if you think about it, it’s not that crazy.
Nonetheless, it’s still a rare event considering he has only appeared on ten different projects throughout his career, according to IMDB.
New LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett Set
The Spanish retailer “El Corte Inglés” revealed a new Boba Fett set before its official announcement date. This set isn’t a helmet or bust, but a complete buildable figure based on the Boba Fett’s we saw in Return of the Jedi.
The set is made of 1544 pieces, and comes with a Boba Fett minifigure and an information plaque. The yellow, blue, and green colors are bright and shiny, which makes a good contrast with the grey that covers most of the figure.

The minifigure looks very good, especially with the cloth piece and the worn armor.

The set hasn’t been listed on the LEGO website yet, but the price is supposed to be around $170. Not the most expensive LEGO Star Wars set, but definitely not a cheap one.
Jaina and Jacen Solo join the Black Series roster
Earlier this week, Hasbro revealed two new Black Series packs.
The first one and arguably the most important one comes with Jaina and Jacen Solo from The New Jedi Order. These two characters are from Legends, meaning that they are not part of the current canon timeline.
In Legends, Jacen and Jaina are the son and daughter of Leia and Han. The twins were both Force-sensitive and trained with Luke Skywalker. After dealing with the Yuuzhan Vong threat and losing their brother Anakin Solo, Jacen fell to the dark side and became Darth Caedus. Both had a final battle where Jacen died, and Jaina was badly injured.
They might not be part of the story anymore, but older fans will definitely appreciate them. This 2-pack is priced at $55.99 and comes out on August 1, 2026.

The second one is the ARC Trooper Pack. The troopers included are ARC Commanders Havoc, Colt, and Blitz from the Rancor Battalion. Each one comes with a pair of blasters. It is priced at $79.99 and comes out on October 1, 2026.
