The LEGO Star Wars UCS Executor Super Star Destroyer has been officially revealed. The iconic Imperial ship is going on sale on October!
Let’s begin with what is arguably the most important factor to decide whether it’s worth adding to your collection or not, the price. The UCS Executor Super Star Destroyer has a price tag of $800. Compared to the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, that’s $150 more expensive.
With 6,130 pieces, 7.5 in. (20 cm) high, 53.5 in. (136 cm) long and 20 in. (50 cm) wide, this one of those sets that will draw the attention of anyone they moment they’re close to it.
My favorite thing about this set is the fact that it includes a small build with the bridge and all characters from that short but iconic scene from Episode V: Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss.
Since this set doesn’t have much space inside, I really doubt that there will be easter eggs or references to other scenes of the movie. However, there is a small Millennium Falcon stud that goes on the back of the scaled Star Destroyer.
I know it’s not much, but replicating that memorable moment when Han is able to hide from the Empire on plain sight is still very cool.

This set releases October 4, 2026 and is sold exclusively on LEGO’s website. However, LEGO Insiders’ members can purchase it as early as October 1. You can join the LEGO Insiders program for free so if you really want to to get this set, I suggest that you join before October.
Is it worth it? Well, the answer is different depending on who you ask. If I had the money to buy it, I probably wouldn’t do so. Especially when the Venator is “cheaper”.
You could argue that, with 6,130 pieces, it has 756 more pieces than the Venator but the UCS Razor Crest has 6,187 pieces and it still released with a $600 price tag. Sure, it released back in 2022 and prices for everything have increased dramatically in the last few years but $800 is a bit excessive.
If you only look at the price per piece argument alone, it’s probably not worth it. On the other hand, this set has some very cool unique minifigures. With four of them not being popular characters at all. In some years, the value of these figures alone could be worth the investment.
And last but not least is the Darth Vader Lightsaber gift. These sets are unique and very cool. Once they’re gone, your only option to get it will be with a reseller.
With all this information available, it should be easier to decide whether it’s worth to spend that amount of money on this set or perhaps save it for future releases.
