Don’t see the SW Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta available in Origin
Make sure you pre-ordered the game before 30th September as this was the last day pre-orders qualify for the Early access to the Beta. Open Beta starts on 6th October and everyone is free to check it out then. If you have a pre-order from before October 2nd but don’t have access, please email support using the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-battlefront-ii/star-wars-battlefront-ii-beta-troubleshooting/
Battlefront II wont launch, Origin Client crashing
If you cannot start the Star Wars Battlefront II Beta on PC, check if you are running the latest version of the Origin client. If not, make sure to delete your current one and reinstall it fresh from the Origin website. Don’t worry, your settings and games will be still here. Other possible solutions according to EA HQ include: pressing alt+enter or setup the game to launch in window mode by editing the “ProfileOptions_profile”; clean boot the OS, repair the game via the Origin sub-menu; reinstall all Visual C++ and “Universal C Runtme” components; install Windows 7 SP1 if you don’t have it as well as any other Windows Updates that you have missed.
Battlefront II freezing up on Xbox One
There have been several reports of this happening after you accept the User Agreement. One possible solution, that was reported so far, is to reset your console to factory defaults, but keep the games and saved data. This is very risky and is not recommended unless you have nothing to lose and are desperate to get into the BF2 beta immediately.
Cannot change FoV in Star Wars Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta
Remember, this is Beta and in the final client this may very well be possible. You can always manually edit this form the ini files. Browse to C:\Users\your-username\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta\settings\, open the Profile file in a text editor (notepad works too). Change the value for line where it says “GstRender.FieldOfView”. You can edit this multiple times until you find the value you like the most
The Rey The Last Jedi Outfit doesn’t appear
This is a known bug, nothing you can do about it now.
SW Battlefront II wont launch – Error 0x7e
This is an error related to a missing dll file mfplat.dll most likely. If this is the case, you are probably running the game on Windows 10 N Edition. You can go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4016817/media-feature-pack-for-n-edition-of-windows-10-version-1703-april-2017 and download the Media Pack for your windows. Be sure to get the proper version. Your OS is likely 64-bit, but be sure first.
Cannot start SW Battlefront II – Error Code 721
This is a networking issue and the Devs are aware of it. Nothing you can do. If your internet is functioning properly, you have nothing to worry about… except the inability to log in to Battlefront II Beta, of course. Be patient and try again later.
Xbox SW Battlefront II Beta pre-order code doesn’t work
Some users have found that their pre-order codes don’t work and appear as invalid. Devs are currently investigating this and advice you to hold on to your codes for now. There is a workaround available: Ensure your Xbox is set as your home console and is connected to the internet, then log into account.xbox.com. Then take the following text string and replace the XXXXX sections with your code: account.xbox.com/en-US/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX&ref=AccountMicrosoftCom. Enter this in your URL bar and hopefully the code will go through.

SW Battlefront II Beta crashes and freezes often
Remember, this is a beta and it is expected of it to behave like this. Make sure your machine covers the minimum system requirements.
Issues with Nvidia Drivers
To run Star Wars Battlefront II Beta you need at least driver version 382.33 or newer. Update your driver to that version and try again.
Fuzzy text in SW Battlefront II menus
Either wait few moments and the game may update it itself. Or alt + tab few times in and out of the game and that usually solves it too. You can also try going into windowed mode by pressing alt + enter and do it few times and the game should update it to the normal standard. You can also go into settings manually and change your screen settings few times as well to update it. Relaunching the game few times may fix it too. You can also play few matches and when you exit it will update usually. Also, make sure to upgrade your drivers if you didn’t already.
Cannot party up with friends in SW Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta
Devs are aware of an issue in the Beta causing playing with friends to not work as intended. Be patient as they are actively looking into it and will provide an update as soon as possible
DirectX 12 causes SW Battlefront II load to freeze during load
Some have reported that if you delete the contents of the BF2 folder in My Documents, you should be able to run the game again.
Missing Yoda Starcard in Battlefront II Beta
This isn’t a bug or an issue. The special InGame rewards for Star Wars Battlefront II will be send out upon release, they are not available in the open beta.
I have pre-ordered Battlefront II, but my order is still stuck on Processing
This is normal, EA wont take your money until a few days prior to the games’ official release. You can still enjoy the Closed Beta from 4th October if you pre-ordered before 30th September and Free after 6th October if you haven’t pre-ordered or have done it after 30th September.
Having trouble with SW Battlefront II Graphics on PC
Start up the game, go to Options and then Video. Under Fullscreen mode, switch to Borderless or Windowed. Hit Back and click Yes to confirm the new settings. Jump into another game and see if performance has improved.
Cannot use a Controller on Xbox One for SW Battlefront II Beta
Remove any USB deviuces, like headphones, that you have attached to your Xbox console. If you are using an Elite controller, swap it out for a regular one if you can. Physically power cycle your Xbox One, launch the beta client and try again.
Suggested by Gary Styles in the comments below: Update your Xbox in the settings menu if you are having problem with the buttons not working after the license agreement.
