Witcher 3: White Orchard Places of Power Locations

Detailed guide and walkthrough on how to find all Places of Power in White Orchard – the starting area of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt!

There are a total of six White Orchard Places of Power in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This guide will show you how to get all of them quickly and easily!

Place of Power south of Broken Bridge

Let’s start the tour from the bottom right corner of the map. South of the Broken Bridge and a little to the west of the Abandoned Village you will find the first place of power. It improves temporarily your Quen Sign.

East of this and a little to the south from a bandit’s camp is the next Place of Power – Yrden.

Place of Power west of Cackler Bridge

From there head north. Cross the river and go to Cackler Bridge. This is the furthest travel post to the north-east of White Orchard. From there, continue to the north – north-east. The Place of Power is about 180m in that direction. There’s a Ghoul nest right next to it. Using the magic stone will increase your Quen Sign intensity.

Right in the middle of the White Orchard Cemetery – north from the Mill travel post, lies the next Magic Stone. There might be a Wraith and/or a few Bandits lurking nearby that you may have to kill first, or if you are careful, just skip them and use the stone. This Place of Power increases your Igni Sign intensity.

Place of Power east of Nilfgaardian Garrison

Another Place of Power is located to the north, just near the northern border of the area. The magic stone is placed in the middle of some sort of a stone circle, kind of like a ritual area. Using it will increase your Aard Sign intensity.

Place of Power west of the river

The tour ends on the west side of White Orchard. The final Place of Power is located right between the two roads. Closest travel post is the Mill, but the distance from the previous Place of Power is so short.

If you are following my directions from the start, simply call Roach, go south until you reach the Mill, then head west, cross the river and continue straight east until you see the magic stone in front of you in the woods. Like the previous one, it also is a part of some sort of a ritual stone circle. Using this one grants you improved Axii Sign.

That’s it. You have found and used all of the Places of Power in White Orchard. If you do this quick enough, you will get the achievement “Power Overwhelming” for having all Signs boosted at the same time.
