With the release of SWTOR Update 7.1.1 BioWare created an opportunity for every player to access the Collector’s Edition Vendors on the Fleet. This guide will show you how to do that and what the vendors have to offer!
How to get access to the Collector’s Edition Vendors
The Collector’s Edition (CE) vendor is now accessible via a pass that can be purchased for 2,000 Cartel Coins. Purchasing the Collector’s Edition Pass will also give each of your toons a VIP Wristband so that you can reach the vendor.
If you own the Collector’s Edition of SWTOR (the original one from 2011, not the LotS Digital Collector’s Edition), you already have access to all of the contents of the Imperial and Republic vendors and a lot more. You do not need to purchase this token.
Where is the Collector’s Edition Vendor located
The Collector’s Edition vendors are located in the VIP Section at the center of the Imperial and Republic Fleets above the main cantina.
In order to reach the VIP Area, you’ll need to ride 1 of the 4 automatic elevators.
Buckle up, these elevators travel faster than gravity! Don’t jump while you’re going down because the elevator will reach the ground before your corpse does.
SWTOR Collector’s Edition Items Catalog
Each Collector’s Edition vendor sells cosmetic armor, pets, dyes, decos, and companion customizations for each of the companions from the origin stories.
The armor sets and companion customizations are only for sale from the relevant original faction. For example, you won’t find companion customizations for Republic companions on the Imperial Collector’s Edition vendor.
Shared content between the two vendors
All of these items can be purchased from both the Republic and Imperial Collector’s Edition vendors.
Dyes
There are 4 dyes available for sale. Each costs 5k credits.
Pets
There are 3 pets available ranging in price from 25k-200k.
Decorations
There are 2 decorations available for sale. Both fit on Medium, Medium Narrow, and Large Floor Hooks. The Statue of Mandalore the Ultimate costs 200k credits while the Statue of Eternal Grace costs 50k credits.
Imperial Fleet Exclusive Items
Companion customizations and a cosmetic armor set are unique to each faction.
Companion Customizations
There are 7 companion customizations available for Imperial companions with 1 for a companion from each of the 4 origin stories + 3 variants Dashades. Each customization costs 2k credits.
Imperial Trooper Armor Set
The Imperial Trooper armor set costs 104,300 credits. The CE vendor does not sell a matching Belt or Bracers.
You can use ones from the Volatile Shock Trooper set available for purchase from the Underworld Exchange vendor Bizal Mavole in the Cartel Bazaar. They look nearly the same as what regular Imperial Troopers wear.
The Imperial Shock Trooper Belt and Bracers each cost only 9,450 credits each, but require Friend standing with the Underworld Exchange.
It’s pretty easy to earn Underworld Reputation and gain access to all the vendors. You just have to play the Contraband Slot Machine, which is a deco available for 1500 CC with tokens purchasable from the vendor deco Felucia Stato.
If you don’t want to buy it yourself, check Public Listings in the Strongholds and Crew Skills section of the fleet. Completed Guild Flagships and Nar Shaddaa Strongholds are more likely to contain the deco.
Republic Fleet Exclusive Items
Companion customizations and a cosmetic armor set are unique to each faction.
Companion Customizations
There are 4 companion customizations available for Republic companions with 1 for a companion from each of the 4 origin stories. Each customization costs 2k credits.
Republic Officer Armor Set
The Republic Officer armor set still costs 104,300 credits. Just like the Imperial Trooper armor set, there is no Belt or Bracers for sale on the CE vendor.
Unfortunately, I do not know of any appropriate replacement pieces for the Republic Officer set, though they aren’t as important for this outfit in my opinion. These armor sets don’t come with any Belts or Bracers because Belts and Bracers weren’t initially moddable at all and Outfitter wasn’t a thing.
SWTOR Update 7.1.1 launched on October 18th 2022. Its main focus was the set of Combat Style Balance Changes, the release of the Galactic Season 3 (which was slightly delayed due to a bug) and a large number of bug fixes and quality of life improvements.
