Crimson Desert: Tree of Slumber Abyss Puzzle Walkthrough

How to reach the Tree of Slumber

The Tree of Slumber is the sixth in a chain of Abyss Puzzles starting from the Spire of Ringing Truth. Be warned, as the Abyss Gate within this Spire is guarded by a powerful boss.

Tree of Slumber is immediately preceded by Loop of Life, with Ether Rest, Frostbitten Paradise, Path of Trials, and Sanctorum of Darkness between Loop of Life and Spire of Ringing Truth.

This means completion of Spire of Ringing Truth and all previous Abyss Puzzles must be completed to access Tree of Slumber.

Solving the Tree of Slumber Abyss Puzzle

When you first arrive, head forward and grab the Abyss Nexus.

Heading into the next room, you’ll see the puzzle here. Unfortunately, it’s one of the tedious puzzles that involves raising and lowering different pillars in different combinations.

Thankfully, this one isn’t too bad and can be done with just three moves. Start by stabbing the hole directly in front of you as you approach.

This will move the pillar in front of you and to the right, as well as the one behind you and to the left. Turn the device to the right until these reach their maximum height.

Release from this slot and move to the next slot to your right (Counter-clockwise) and stab that one.

This time, you’re lowering the pillars until the pillar opposite you lights up orange, indicating it’s in the correct position. This should leave one solved pillar and three roughly equal in height.

Release from the slot and move one more slot to the right and make the final stab. This will allow you to lower the three equal-height pillars until they lock into the solved position.

After this, the Completion button is activated. Carefully make your way to the Button, and don’t fall for the trap of the button being low to the ground.

Glide on to it and make sure to resist getting flung off it, as landing on the lava below is instant death. Thankfully, the puzzle here is quick with these steps, but you will have to repeat them if you die to lava.
