Lucasfilm releases the final trailer for The Mandalorian, Sam Witwer wants to return as Starkiller, a new LEGO UCS set and everything that happened in the week of April 11 – April 17, 2026.
Final trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu released
With just one month left until The Mandalorian and Grogu finally hit theatres all over the world, Lucasfilm revealed the final trailer of the movie. It features some scenes that we already saw in the previous trailers, while also adding a few that complement them.
I believe that the most important thing shown in this trailer is the New Republic ships attacking Nal Hutta. As vicious as they are, the Hutts are smart enough not to mess with whoever is in charge of the government.
Whether it was the Republic or the Empire, both parties knew that declaring war on the other side would be more trouble than it was worth. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with the New Republic.

Sending a squadron of New Republic fighters to openly attack the homeworld of the Hutts is bold, to say the least.
Thanks to the previous trailer, I can already picture why they are going to do so, but it’s still something that I was surprised to see in a trailer.

I’m thankful that this final trailer didn’t show “too much”. Surprise is a rare factor with media nowadays, and this is the perfect opportunity for Lucasfilm to surprise us with something. Maybe not something as cool as the 2nd season finale of The Mandalorian, but I’m happy with anything that comes close to it.
Quick reminder that tickets for The Mandalorian and Grogu are already available in a few countries. Make sure to check your local theater’s website.
Are you ready? You still have time to catch up with everything you need to watch and play before you go see The Mandalorian and Grogu.
New LEGO Star Wars UCS set
To celebrate both May 4th and The Mandalorian, LEGO has revealed the UCS The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter set. This set is made of 1809 pieces and costs $250. It comes with a silver-colored brick, though it’s still far from the chrome color that the ship has in the series.
It includes the minifigures of Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu, as well as the info plaque and a stand for the set that can make it face forward or side-on. This set comes out on May 4th, but LEGO insiders can purchase it on May 1st.

Sam Witwer is willing to return as Starkiller
Maul – Shadow Lord has caught the attention of millions, and for good reason. The show is intense, more mature, and a must-see for anyone who enjoyed The Clone Wars.
Sam Witwer has been very busy promoting the show and giving interviews to multiple media. Anyone who has done any bit of research knows that Witwer is a massive Star Wars fan and one of the most dedicated actors of the franchise.
In an interview with Polygon, he was asked about whether he’d return to reprise his role as Starkiller, Darth Vader’s apprentice in The Force Unleashed. Witwer replied with a brief but clear statement: I would shave my head in an instant. Very happy to do so, I love that character, and he’s really the reason I’m here.

There’s obviously a long distance between wanting to reprise that role and actually doing so, especially with the implications that it would have in the official canon Star Wars timeline.
Nonetheless, it’s a very cool thing to know that he’s more than willing to return to do it. Who knows, maybe they’ll reintroduce the character with the respective adjustments to his origins.
Even if that doesn’t happen, I still think that we need to see Sam Witwer as a villain in either a movie or a live-action series.

Disney delists 2 Star Wars games from Steam
Earlier this year, over a dozen Disney games were delisted from Steam. That first wave didn’t impact any Star Wars games, but that has changed with a second wave of delisted Disney games.
Star Wars: Rebellion and Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995) are no longer available on Steam. However, the Dark Forces Remaster is still available. Anyone who bought these games should still have them in their Steam library.

Luke, Han, and Leia arrive at Galaxy’s Edge
Galaxy’s Edge is about to “go back” a few years, with multiple spots now being set in the Original Trilogy era. Starting April 29, 2026, guests will be able to spot Luke, Han, Leia, R2-D2, Chewie, Darth Vader, and Stormtroopers wandering around.
This change comes with the respective props, graphics, and even music to make everything a lot more immersive. Additionally, new items that match this era will be sold at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
This week, Star Wars’ Instagram account revealed a few photos of the actors who are portraying Luke, Leia, and Han. Finding people for these roles seems like an impossible task, but hopefully, they will make the kids’ experience a lot more fun.
