Maul – Shadow Lord came to an amazing end, Droid Tycoon takes over Fortnite, and new LEGO Star Wars sets for 2026.
Maul – Shadow Lord delivers an epic finale
Maul – Shadow Lord Season 1 has ended after five weeks of double episodes. The series had everything: flashy lightsaber duels, epic music, emotional scenes, and a moment that made thousands of us feel an excitement we haven’t felt in quite some time.

The first season is definitely something that any fan of Star Wars Rebels or The Clone Wars must watch. The best thing is that a second season is already in the works. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too much before we see what happens next.
REVIEW: Maul – Shadow Lord, Season 1Star Wars Celebrations tickets are out…aaaand they’re gone
Star Wars Celebration 2027 is taking place in Los Angeles from April 1-4, 2027. This time, the event will be extra special because it celebrates 50 years of the franchise.
Tickets went on sale earlier this week, and as expected, they sold out pretty fast. Unfortunately, Disney didn’t take the appropriate measures to prevent scalpers from taking advantage. It could even be said that they encouraged them by allowing anyone to buy up to 20 tickets.
As expected, many tickets are being resold for obscene amounts of money. Many fans won’t be able to attend, and that’s always sad.
Additionally, official art and merchandise for the event have been revealed. This isn’t all of it, just a first preview of what you can expect to see there.

The Mandalorian and Grogu are everywhere
We’re just two weeks away from The Mandalorian and Grogu‘s official release. But while I am cautiously excited for the movie, I can’t help but notice the massive bombardment that we’re getting on TV and social media.
Toys, food, clothes, sports adds, and dozens of daily posts from the official Star Wars channels have made me question why the marketing campaign for this movie is so aggressive. Could the marketing budget could match or even surpass the production budget? That’s crazy. Or is it?

The trailers have revealed very little about the story. We have been able to figure out a few things by analyzing them, but nothing that spoils the experience.
A few people have already watched the first 20 minutes of the movie, and most have claimed to be amazed by what they saw.
While I’m not one to question the credibility of other fellow creators, I still take what they say with a grain of salt because they were invited by Disney to watch it. Whatever the case, we’ll find out in two weeks.
New LEGO Star Wars Sets revealed
As part of the May 4th celebration, LEGO revealed some of the new sets releasing in the second half of 2026. The coolest one is definitely the Up-Scaled Darth Vader Minifigure. This 11 in. tall set is made of 1028 pieces, and has a price tag of $99.

You can check more details about this and the other sets in our dedicated article.
Droid Tycoon takes over Fortnite
As some of you may know, Fortnite released many Star Wars game modes at the end of last week. Many of them are made by fans, while others were created in collaboration with Epic Games.
One game mode simulates the conquest mechanics of Battlefront II, another is a survival mode where Vader chases you, and the third (and most popular, by far) is called Droid Tycoon.
In this mode, you have to collect blueprints of droids in different rarities, put them to work, and upgrade your base by earning credits.

All of this is set on Anakin’s favorite planet, Tatooine. There is very little action compared to other game modes, but it’s surprisingly fun and addictive.

Droid Tycoon crushed every other Star Wars game mode and continues to be very popular. I recommend that you give it a try if you want something chill to pass some time on your own or with your friends.
A BB-8 event is taking place on Saturday, 9, at 10 AM ET. This will be the only way to get BB-8, at least for now.
