Trailers of Star Wars: Zero Company and Star Wars: Galactic Racer were revealed during Summer Game Fest 2026, and everything that happened during the week of May 30 – June 6
Star Wars: Zero Company trailer and release date
Zero Company’s new trailer reveals a considerable amount of things about this turn-based game. The most obvious one is just the number of characters available: Clone Trooper, Mandalorian, Umbaran, Rodian, Zabrak, Astromech, Human, Tognath, Devaronian, Twi’lek, and more species!

And that’s without taking into account the different types of droids that are manufactured by the CIS during this time period.
The customization looks quite complex. Players are able to modify something as simple as the appearance of characters or more complex things, like weapons and armor.

We could also see what happens in-game when someone dies. These characters will have their own memorial, though I wouldn’t be eager to fill it. In case you aren’t aware of it, characters’ deaths are permanent in Zero Company. If they die, they’re gone forever.

The trailer showed both LAAT Gunships and HMP Droid Gunship interacting with the characters, but it’s unclear if it’s something to give a cinematic feel or something that actually affects the gameplay.

Last but definitely not least is the reveal of one of the most important characters in the Clone Wars: Anakin Skywalker. As much as I love to see him in this game, I doubt that we’ll be able to use him as part of our squad simply because of how powerful he is and the fact that he’s protected by plot armor.

This makes me wonder if there’s a chance of seeing other iconic characters from this era. Maybe someone like General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, or a more “obscure” character like Durge.
These and more questions will be answered when the game is out on August 27, 2026.
New Star Wars Galactic Racer footage
The new Story Trailer gives us a glimpse of some of the things we can expect to see when Galactic Racer releases on October 6, 2026.
The first thing that caught my attention is that we’ll be able to talk with the other pilots. Each of them has their own background and personalities, which already gives more depth to the story.

According to one of said pilots, Sebulba only races against the absolute best pilots. Meaning that you’ll probably need to reach the top status within the league before being able to race as him/against him.

The previous trailer showed Jakku and Ando Prime as some of the locations where we’ll race. In this one, we get to see Tatooine, a tropical planet, and a whole race circuit built on a moon.

A fun thing that many probably missed is that Griff Halloran from Star Wars Resistance is among the competitors. An unexpected easter egg and likely one of many others found in the game.

Galactic Racer will feature multiple game modes, including Campaign, Scenario, and Arcade modes. You can earn yourself a reputation by playing the League in the solo campaign, or play against other players online.
The following text is the official story description of the game:
Darius Pax may have founded the Galactic League, but Kestar Bool dominates it. As talented as he is villainous, Kestar uses his position as League Champion to threaten other pilots and extend his powerful reach even further. In a bid to retain control over his racing league, Darius Pax enlists the help of Shade, a mysterious pilot with a personal grudge against the Bool family. With the help of energetic engineer Hibi and a certain legendary podracer, Shade’s sights are set on unseating the corrupt reigning champion.
