More Star Wars: Zero Company details
Over the past few days, we have learned new information about Star Wars: Zero Company, the upcoming strategy game developed by the people who worked on XCOM.
Cast
The first reveal is the cast who will voice the most important characters. The group includes people who have already played a character in either a Star Wars game or series, as well as new faces.

EA answered some of the most frequently asked questions about Zero Company. Here’s a summary of the most important questions for anyone who doesn’t want to read the whole post.
- Permadeath can be disabled.
- You can have a whole team of Clone Troopers or Astromechs.
- The main story campaign lasts between 30-40 hours.
- There will be many customization options for Clone Troopers.
- Hawks is the only character that must survive each mission. If he dies, you restart the mission.
- No official modding support.
- Most cutscenes are rendered in real-time, with a few exceptions.
- Operator limit is capped at 20; players will start with a maximum of 7.
- There are 4 weapon classes, with 4-6 cosmetic models for each class.
- Squad limit is up to 4 Operators, but players can control additional characters in specific missions.
- Tel-Rea is the only Jedi Padawan class Operator in the game.
- Weather effects won’t affect the squad’s visibility or efficiency.
- Outfits don’t affect gameplay.
- The “Arc Trooper” Armor Set is only part of the “Grand Army of the Republic” Cosmetic Pack for the Deluxe Edition.
- Only Cly can wear Mandalorian armor.
- The game won’t have New Game+.
- We can’t recruit Separatist droids as operators.
- Nicknames aren’t acquired like in XCOM 2, but you can fully customize recruited Operator names and backstories.
- Weapon proficiencies aren’t related to species or factions.
- The different types of missions include: Sabotage, combat, rescue, retrieval, and narrative missions.
- There are over 150 planets where Operations can take place, while Tactical Missions have a dozen unique planets.
- There aren’t any romance systems.
- You can explore a section of some planets before engaging in combat.
- The story’s conclusion will be the same for everyone.
- There are no plans for microtransactions.

Collector’s Edition

Dungeons & Dragons and Star Wars join forces
During the D&D Vision Keynote at Gen Con, it was announced that D&D | Star Wars: The Season of Rebellion will be launched in 2027 as part of Wizards of the Coast’s new D&D Universes Beyond initiative.
Sadly, there aren’t details about the release date, classes, species, rules, or product list. The only thing that we know is that it will be set during the Galactic Civil War. This sounds like a very promising collaboration, but we’ll have to learn more about it before getting too excited.

Star Wars: Legacy
Rey and Leia go on a quest to repair Rey’s lightsaber and restore the legacy of the Jedi. This story takes them to one of the most important planets in the Jedi Order’s history, Tython. This story takes place between Episodes VIII and IX. Release date: July 28, 2026. Our spoiler-free review is available now.
