SWTOR Subscription and Cartel Coin Bundles, Discounts and Deals

Vulkk by Vulkk|

Looking for a way to get a SWTOR Subscription Game Time on a budget or at a discounted price as part of a bundle? This will help you find the best discounts, promotions and deals!

Star Wars: The Old Republic was known for having one of the worst F2P models for an MMO game. This was 100% true when the game launched its F2P model over ten years ago.

There have been a number of improvements made to the experience of players who cannot or don’t want to pay for a monthly Subscription. The game looks and feels vastly different if you decide to play it as a “premium” player (subscriber).

This article will show you the best deals and sales currently available. I do my best to keep it up to date. It has been nearly ten years since I first published it.

Broadsword’s own Bundles

Broadsword often offers bundles that contain anywhere from one to six months of subscription time, Cartel Coins and some digital goodies for your characters like mounts and dyes. You can find these bundles on the swtor.com website and/or Steam.

Here is a list of Bundles offering Subscription time that we have reviewed. Not all of them are available, some may have been only available for a limited time, which would be noted in our overview articles linked below.

The Amazon SWTOR Bundle

The item I want to show you here is one of the greatest deals I was able to find through the years. It’s not cheap in the direct meaning of the word, but the amount of content you will get out of this deal, is insane.

It is very likely that this bundle will never be available again. It has not been available on Amazon for years, but for some reason it is still listed there.

What is included in the pack

  • 90 Days of PREMIUM Unlimited Gameplay Access as a Subscriber with Full Game Access.
  • Access to all currently released expansions.
  • 2,400 Cartel Coins.
  • KOTOR-Inspired Swoop Bike – Kakkran Daggerstar. This super sleek speeder was designed as a tribute to the game that started it all, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic!

Other offers

There used to be a number of other cheap offerings. You may have seen them mentioned in this article in the past. As I do my best to always offer up-to-date information, I have to delete some segments of items that are no longer available.

Such examples include:

  • The Origin Bundle
  • BioWare’s own Referral Program for SWTOR
  • Other third-party deals and promotions that have been only available for a limited time in the past

The company doesn’t usually discount prices for Cartel Coin Packages. Instead they frequently offer items at a heavily discounted price in the Cartel Market, the in-game store. Often, they also lower the prices for unlocking items in your Collections.

What happens when your subscription expires

When you become a subscriber, you gain full access to all features of the game. After your subscription time expires, you will forever retain full access to all the paid expansions and story content that has been released up to this point in time.

After your Subscription expires, you will be reverted to a Preferred Status player, which is way better than F2P and you will be able to keep playing your characters as well as create new ones and level them up to lvl 80. Keep in mind, that there is a limit to how many characters a Preferred Player can have for free!

Why is this such a good deal? It’s $40. This is more than 35% off of the retail price of the items if purchased separately. Let’s see how much each one of these items would cost you to buy separately: 90 Days Sub and 2400 CC Code:

Unfortunately, at this time the bundle is not available on all localized Amazon stores. However, if you can find a way to purchase it (via a friend, for example), you can use the code from any location. The code is not area restricted!

The big question you may still be asking yourself is Is Star Wars The Old Republic Subscription Worth It. Check out this article and find out! In short, yes, it is. If you have been away from the game for over a year, a subscription for a month will keep you well entertained with new story and available activities such as dailies and events.

Past that first month, it is up to you to decide if you need to keep the subscription or let it drop you to Preferred until the next story content arrives.

I myself have always been a subscriber, since day 1. I have very limited experience what it is like to not have a subscription, and it comes primarily from other sources, not myself. That said, I’d love to hear more about your experiences!
