Learn how to unlock and complete the Blizz Recruitment Mission, Little Boss, available in SWTOR Knights of the Fallen Empire, and earn the three secret achievements.
How to Unlock Little Boss
The Mission Alert “Little Boss” is unlocked and becomes available automatically in your Alliance tab after you meet these conditions:
- Completed Fallen Empire Chapter 10 “Anarchy in Paradise“
- Completed Yuun’s recruitment mission “To Find a Findsman“
The mission is available to both factions, but if you are a Bounty Hunter, there will be a few unique dialogue lines and you will be able to skip the first objective.
How to start and complete Little Boss Mission in SWTOR
A step-by-step walkthrough summary of all you have to do to unlock and complete the Alliance Alert Little Boss in SWTOR, allowing you to recruit Blizz, the Jawa.
Instructions
- To unlock the mission Little Boss in SWTOR, first complete KOTFE Chapter 10 and the "To Find a Findsman" mission.
- Open the "Little Boss" mission the Companions and Contracts window and click on the "Travel to Location" button to start it.
- If you are not a Bounty Hunter Class: the mission continues with a few objectives. Skip to 5.
- If you are a Bounty Hunter Class: Blizz will re-join you as your companion after a unique dialogue, no need to do anything else.
- Find and collect 20 Salvage Parts and bring them to Blizz.
- Head to the Clabburn Tundra's Buried Field area. Talk to Preeti and give him the vibro-ear item.
- Go to Lower Pass, in the middle of the Highmount Ridge zone. Talk to Nu'na and give the little creature the socks.
- Find Dakk'ik in the middle of the Glacial Fissure zon and give him the sniff-machine.
- Talk to R'bik D'nec on the Grim Path in the Starship Graveyard zon. Give him the laser-torch.
- Use the holo terminal nearby to talk to Blizz.
- Regroup with Blizz and the gang of Jawas and enter the cave in the north of the Starship Graveyard zone.
- (Optional) Defeat nine groups of ugnaughts in the cave for the secondary quest and the achievement.
- Click on the glowing item at the end of the cave and defeat the Ugnaught Leader mini-boss that will spawn. Retrieve the contents of the container.
- To complete "Little Boss" talk to Hylo Visz in Alliance Camp Headquarters on Odessen. If you are a Bounty Hunter, you can choose a unique dialogue option during this conversation.
- Completing the mission in this order will also grant you the three achievements related to it: for giving the correct items to the correct Jawas, guessing their names correctly and defeating all Ugnaughts in the cave.

Mission Walkthrough
When you get the mission in your Companions and Contracts window, open it and click on the large purple “Travel to Location” button at the bottom.
This will teleport you to Hoth, where you have to talk to Blizz. You will find him in the left edge of the map, southwest of Drift Hills Imperial and Republic Outposts, in the Clabburn Tundra region.
Gain Blizz’s trust (if you are not a Bounty Hunter)
After a short dialogue the jawa will ask of you to help him with a task before he considers joining you – Collect Salvage parts from the Ship Graveyard area (to the east on the map of Hoth).
If you are NOT a Bounty Hunter class, you will have to collect 20 salvage parts then return to Blizz.
If you ARE a Bounty Hunter, the dialogue is different and Blizz joins you right away.
Each one gives 500 Influence and you need 10k for this part of the quest. The nodes are sometimes hard to spot, but re-spawn quick and are spread all over the area around the big ship.
If you have trouble recognizing these objects – Hoth’s surface is kind of blue and dark in the shades – hover items with your mouse cursor until you get a pop-up notification and an item under your mouse starts glowing. Below is what a Salvage node looks like.
One node yields a random number of salvage parts, usually from 1 to 5. After you collect 20 Salvage parts (you can check their count in the Mission Items tab in your Inventory), return to Blizz. He is still in his original spot to the far west, in the Clabburn Tundra region.
Find the Associates and give them their items
The next objective is to talk to all four Associates of Blizz and deliver the specific items each one of them needs. You can find the items in your Mission Items tab of your Inventory. Read their descriptions for a hint or simply continue with the guide to get things done the right way.
There is a secret achievement involved in guessing the correct names and giving the correct items to each one of the Jawas, without making a single mistake. Follow the guide below to earn it.
First Jawa
First head to the Clabburn Tundra’s Buried Field area and speak to this little guy:
This Jawa’s name is Preeti and you have to give him the vibro-ear item.
Second Jawa
Now head to the Lower Pass. The second Jawa is in the middle of the Highmount Ridge zone, in the Tromper Crags Geothermal Installation area. His tent is on the left side of the giant metal construct.
This is Nu’na, who is freezing from the cold (hint, heh). Give the little creature the socks.
Third Jawa
Next go to the Glacial Fissure zone and around the middle of the right side of the map is the third Jawa you have to talk to – located in the Southern Crevasse area.
This guy’s name is Dakk’ik and you need to give him the sniff-machine.
Fourth Jawa
The final fourth associate is in The Starship Graveyard zone. You will find the Jawa in the Grim Path area.
This is R’bik D’nec and he needs the laser-torch, which is the last item left you have to give anyway.

Talk to Blizz via the Holoterminal
Near the fourth associate, there will be a holo terminal, which you can click to start the conversation with Blizz and tell him that you have completed the previous objectives.
Next you will have to meet with Blizz near the Rival Ugnaught Gang.
Journey in the cave
After meeting with Blizz and his 4 associates, who are now willing to join and help, you enter a cave.
If you do not see the associates when you arrive at the locations, re-log quickly and they will spawn. Also you can try switching the map instance (if more than one instances are available at the current moment on your server).
Before clicking on the objective, make sure you clear the cave for the achievement attached to the bonus quest called “Winter Of Their Discontent (Bonus)”. For that you need to defeat nine groups of ugnaughts.
If you struggle in the fights (I don’t think you will, but…) switch Blizz, your currently active companion to a Healing mode.
After you reach the marked location, click on the glowing item to spawn the final mini boss for this mission – the Ugnaught Leader.
The five Jawas will help you in this fight, but you should not rely on them to do the job as they are quite slow.
The Ugnaught Leader has one knock-back ability and not much more to show off with in this fight.
Click once again on the Object to retrieve it.
To complete the Alliance Alert Mission “Little Boss”, go back to Odessen and talk to Hylo Visz. She is in the Alliance Camp Headquarters – in the Underworld Logistics room.
If you are a Bounty Hunter, you can choose a unique [Bounty Hunter Background] dialogue option while talking to Hylo. It’s not much, but helps the immersion.
The reward for the Little Boss mission is more about enjoying the exploration of Hoth, meeting Blizz and his crew and playing the game. If you do this whole mission with the sole purpose to earn something of great value, you might face disappointment.
The best reward is the fact that Blizz joins/returns to your squad and will be your loyal companion from now on.

Secret Achievements
The secret achievements are granted to you if you guess correctly the names of each one of the four Jawas and if you give them the correct items. Also the third one that I mentioned earlier is about defeating all groups of Ugnaughts in the cave. Here they are:
